☞고전11:1 내가 그리스도를 따르는 것처럼 너희는 나를 따르는 자가 되라.
Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
☞고전11:2 형제들아, 이제 내가 너희를 칭찬하노니, 이는 너희가 모든 일에 나를 기억하고, 또 내가 너희에게 전달해 준 그 관례들을 지킴이라.
Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
☞고전11:3 그러나 나는 너희가 알기를 원하노니, 즉 각 남자의 머리는 그리스도시요, 여자의 머리는 남자요, 그리스도의 머리는 하나님이시니라.
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
☞고전11:4 남자가 누구라도 머리에 무엇을 쓰고 기도하거나 예언하면, 그의 머리를 수치스럽게 하는 것이라.
Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
☞고전11:5 반면에 여자가 누구라도 머리에 쓰지 않은 채 기도하거나 예언하면 그녀의 머리를 수치스럽게 하는 것이라. 이는 그 여자가 머리를 밀어버린 것과 마찬가지임이라.
But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head： for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
☞고전11:6 여자가 머리에 쓰지 아니하려거든 또한 깎으라. 그러나 깎거나 미는 것이 여자에게 수치가 된다면 머리에 쓸지니라.
For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn： but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
☞고전11:7 남자는 하나님의 형상과 영광이므로 마땅히 머리에 쓰면 아니되지만, 여자는 남자의 영광이니라.
For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God： but the woman is the glory of the man.
☞고전11:8 이는 남자가 여자에게서 난 것이 아니라 여자가 남자에게서 났기 때문이며
For the man is not of the woman： but the woman of the man.
☞고전11:9 남자가 여자를 위하여 창조된 것이 아니라 여자가 남자를 위하여 창조된 것이기 때문이라.
Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
☞고전11:10 이런 까닭에 여자는 천사들로 인하여 머리 위에 권세를 두어야 하리라.
For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
☞고전11:11 그러나 주 안에서는 여자 없이 남자만 있을 수 없고 남자 없이 여자만 있을 수도 없느니라.
Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
☞고전11:12 이는 여자가 남자에게서 나는 것같이 남자도 여자를 통하여 나거니와 모든 것은 하나님에게서 나느니라.
For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
☞고전11:13 여자가 쓰지 아니하고 하나님께 기도하는 것이 마땅한 일이냐? 너희 자신이 판단하라.
Judge in yourselves： is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
☞고전11:14 또 남자가 긴 머리를 하고 있다면 그것이 자신에게 수치가 된다는 것을 본성 그 자체까지도 너희에게 가르치고 있지 아니하느냐?
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
☞고전11:15 그러나 여자가 긴 머리를 하고 있다면 그것은 그녀에게 영광이 되느니라. 이는 그녀의 머리가 그녀의 쓰는 것을 대신하기 때문이라.
But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her： for her hair is given her for a covering.
☞고전11:16 어떤 사람이 논쟁을 하려고 생각할지 모르나 그런 관습은 우리에게도 하나님의 교회들에도 없느니라
But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
☞고전11:17 이제 내가 너희에게 명하고자 하는 이것에 관해서는 너희를 칭찬하지 아니하노니, 이는 너희가 함께 모이는 것이 유익하기보다는 해로움이라.
Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
☞고전11:18 먼저, 너희가 교회에 함께 모일 때 너희 가운데 분열이 있다고 들었는데 나도 그 일부는 믿노라.
For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
☞고전11:19 너희 가운데는 이단들도 있어야만 하리니, 그래야만이 너희 가운데 인정받는 사람들이 나타나게 되리라.
For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
☞고전11:20 그러므로 너희가 한 곳에 함께 모이되 주의 만찬을 먹으려는 것이 아니니
When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper.
☞고전11:21 이는 먹을 때에 각자 다른 사람보다 먼저 자기의 만찬을 먹으므로 어떤 사람은 시장하고 어떤 사람은 술취함이라.
For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper： and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
☞고전11:22 너희에게는 먹고 마실 집이 없느냐? 아니면 너희가 하나님의 교회를 무시하고 가난한 사람들을 부끄럽게 하느냐? 내가 너희에게 무슨 말을 하랴? 이 일로 너희를 칭찬하랴? 나는 칭찬하지 않노라.
What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
☞고전11:23 내가 주께로부터 받은 것을 너희에게 전달해 주었나니, 이는 주 예수께서 넘겨지시던 그 밤에 빵을 가지고
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread：
☞고전11:24 감사를 드린 후 떼어 말씀하시기를 "이것은 너희를 위하여 쪼개진 나의 몸이니 받아 먹으라. 이것을 행하여 나를 기억하라."고 하셨으며
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat： this is my body, which is broken for you： this do in remembrance of me.
☞고전11:25 식후에도 이와 같이 잔을 가지고 말씀하시기를 "이 잔은 나의 피로 된 새 언약이라. 이것을 행하여 너희가 마실 때마다 나를 기억하라."고 하셨느니라.
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood： this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
☞고전11:26 너희가 이 빵을 먹고 이 잔을 마실 때마다 주의 죽으심을 그 분이 오실 때까지 선포하라.
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
☞고전11:27 그러므로 누구든지 합당치 않게 이 빵을 먹고 주의 이 잔을 마시는 자는 주의 몸과 피에 대해 죄를 짓는 것이라.
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
☞고전11:28 사람이 자신을 살펴보고 나서 그 빵을 먹고 그 잔을 마셔야 하리니
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
☞고전11:29 이는 주의 몸을 분별하지 못하고 합당치 않게 먹고 마시는 자는 자신의 저주를 먹고 마시는 것이기 때문이라.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
☞고전11:30 이 때문에 너희 가운데 많은 사람이 약하고 병들었으며 상당수가 잠들었느니라.
For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
☞고전11:31 만일 우리가 우리 자신을 판단한다면 판단받지 않으리라.
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
☞고전11:32 그러나 우리가 판단을 받는 것은 주께 징계를 받는 것이니, 이는 우리로 세상과 함께 정죄받지 않게 하려 함이로다.
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
☞고전11:33 그러므로 나의 형제들아, 너희가 먹으려고 함께 모일 때면 서로 기다리라.
Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
☞고전11:34 누구든지 시장하거든 집에서 먹으라. 이는 너희가 함께 정죄받지 않게 하려는 것이라. 나머지 일들은 내가 가서 정리하리라.
And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
