| ☞롬13:1 | 각 사람은 위에 있는 권세자들에게 복종하라. 하나님께로부터 나오지 않은 권세는 없나니, 모든 권세는 하나님께서 정하신 것이라. Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God： the powers that be are ordained of God. | |||
| ☞롬13:2 | 그러므로 누구든지 권세자에게 거역하는 자는 하나님의 정하신 바를 거역함이니, 거역하는 그들은 스스로 저주를 받게 되리라. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God： and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. | |||
| ☞롬13:3 | 이는 다스리는 자들은 선행에 대해 두려움이 되지 아니하고 악행에 대해서만 됨이니, 네가 권세자를 두려워하지 아니하기를 원하느냐? 선을 행하라. 그러면 그에게서 칭찬을 받으리라. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same： | |||
| ☞롬13:4 | 그는 너에게 선을 이루기 위한 하나님의 일꾼이라. 그러나 네가 악을 행하면 두려워하라. 이는 그가 헛되이 칼을 가지고 다니지 아니하기 때문이라. 그는 하나님의 일꾼이요 악을 행하는 자에게 진노를 행하는 보응자니라. For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain： for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. | |||
| ☞롬13:5 | 그러므로 너희가 반드시 복종해야 하나니, 진노 때문만이 아니라 양심 때문이기도 하니라. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. | |||
| ☞롬13:6 | 이러한 연유로 너희가 세금을 내는 것이니, 이는 그들이 하나님의 일꾼들로서 바로 이 일에 전념하게 하려 함이니라. For for this cause pay ye tribute also： for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. | |||
| ☞롬13:7 | 그러므로 모든 사람에게 의무를 다하되, 국세를 낼 자에게 국세를 내고, 관세를 낼 자에게 관세를 내며, 두려워할 자를 두려워하고, 존경할 자를 존경하라. Render therefore to all their dues： tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. | |||
| ☞롬13:8 | 서로 사랑하는 것 외에는 아무에게도 어떤 빚도 지지 말라. 다른 사람을 사랑하는 사람은 율법을 이룬 것이니라. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another： for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. | |||
| ☞롬13:9 | 그것은 "너는 간음하지 말지니라, 너는 살인하지 말지니라, 너는 도둑질하지 말지니라, 너는 거짓 증거하지 말지니라, 너는 탐내지 말지니라." 한 것과 그 외에 다른 계명이 있을지라도 "너는 네 이웃을 네 자신과 같이 사랑하라."는 말씀 가운데 다 들어 있음이니라. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. | |||
| ☞롬13:10 | 사랑은 자기 이웃에게 악을 행치 아니하느니라. 그러므로 사랑은 율법의 완성이니라. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour： therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. | |||
| ☞롬13:11 | 뿐만 아니라 우리가 그 때를 아노니, 지금은 바로 잠에서 깨어나야 할 시간이로다. 이는 지금이 우리가 처음 믿은 때보다 우리의 구원이 더 가까워졌음이라. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep： for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. | |||
| ☞롬13:12 | 밤이 많이 지났고 낮이 가까웠느니라. 그러므로 어두움의 행위를 벗어 버리고 빛의 갑옷을 입자. The night is far spent, the day is at hand： let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. | |||
| ☞롬13:13 | 낮에와 같이 단정히 행하고, 흥청거리거나 술 취하지 말며, 음란하거나 방탕하지 말며, 다투거나 시기하지 말고 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. | |||
| ☞롬13:14 | 오직 주 예수 그리스도로 옷 입고 정욕을 채우기 위하여 육신을 위해 계획하지 말라. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. | |||
