| ☞전3:1 | 하늘 아래 모든 것에는 시기가 있고 모든 목적에는 때가 있으니 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven： | |||
| ☞전3:2 | 태어날 때와 죽을 때, 심을 때와 심긴 것을 뽑을 때며 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; | |||
| ☞전3:3 | 죽일 때와 치유시켜 줄 때, 헐 때와 지을 때요 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; | |||
| ☞전3:4 | 울 때와 웃을 때, 애도할 때와 춤출 때며 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; | |||
| ☞전3:5 | 돌들을 던져 버릴 때와 돌들을 함께 모을 때, 안을 때와 안는 것을 그만둘 때요 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; | |||
| ☞전3:6 | 얻을 때와 잃을 때, 간수할 때와 버릴 때며 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; | |||
| ☞전3:7 | 찢을 때와 꿰맬 때, 침묵을 지킬 때와 말할 때요 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; | |||
| ☞전3:8 | 사랑할 때와 미워할 때, 전쟁의 때와 평화의 때라. A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. | |||
| ☞전3:9 | 일한 사람이 자기의 수고한 것에서 무슨 이익을 얻으리요? What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? | |||
| ☞전3:10 | 나는 하나님께서 사람들의 아들들에게 주사 애쓰게 하신 노고를 보았노라. I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. | |||
| ☞전3:11 | 그는 모든 것을 그의 때에 아름답게 지으시고 그 세상을 그들의 마음 속에 두시어, 하나님께서 지으신 일을 처음부터 마지막까지 사람이 찾아낼 수 없게 하셨도다. He hath made every thing beautiful in his time： also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. | |||
| ☞전3:12 | 사람이 기뻐하는 것과 그의 생애 속에서 선을 행하는 것 말고는 그것들 중에 선이 없음을 내가 아노라. I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. | |||
| ☞전3:13 | 모든 사람이 먹고 마시며 자기의 모든 수고의 유익을 누려야 함을 또한 아노니 이것은 하나님의 선물이라. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. | |||
| ☞전3:14 | 내가 아는 것은 하나님께서 하신 것은 무엇이나 영원히 있을 것이라는 것이라. 아무것도 거기에 첨가될 수 없고 뺄 수도 없으니 하나님께서 그것을 행하심은 사람들이 그 분 앞에서 두려워하게 하려 하심이라. I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever： nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it： and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. | |||
| ☞전3:15 | 전에 있었던 것이 지금 있고 앞으로 있을 것이 이미 있었으니, 하나님께서는 지난 것을 요구하시는도다. That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. | |||
| ☞전3:16 | 내가 해 아래서 또 보았는데 재판의 자리에 사악함이 있고 의의 자리에 죄악이 있도다. And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. | |||
| ☞전3:17 | 내가 내 마음 속에 말하기를 "하나님께서 의인과 악인을 심판하시리라. 이는 모든 목적과 모든 일의 때가 거기 있음이라." 하였도다. I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked： for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. | |||
| ☞전3:18 | 내가 사람들의 아들들의 지위에 관하여 내 마음 속에 말하기를 "하나님께서 그들을 드러내시리니, 그들은 자신들이 짐승들이라는 것을 볼 것이라." 하였도다. I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. | |||
| ☞전3:19 | 이는 사람들의 아들들에게 닥치는 일이 짐승들에게도 닥침이니, 곧 한 가지 일이 그들에게 닥치는도다. 하나가 죽는 것처럼 다른 것도 죽으니, 정녕, 그들 모두가 한 호흡을 가졌도다. 그러므로 사람이 짐승보다 월등함이 없으니, 이는 모든 것이 헛됨이라. For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them： as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast： for all is vanity. | |||
| ☞전3:20 | 모두가 한 곳으로 가나니, 모두가 흙에서 왔고 모두가 흙으로 다시 돌아가도다. All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. | |||
| ☞전3:21 | 사람의 영은 위로 올라가고 짐승의 영은 땅 아래로 내려가는 것을 누가 알리요? Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? | |||
| ☞전3:22 | 그러므로 사람이 자기 자신의 일에 기뻐하는 것보다 더 좋은 일이 없음을 내가 알았나니, 이는 그것이 그의 몫임이라. 그의 뒤에 있을 일을 보게 하려고 누가 그를 데려오리요? Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion： for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him? | |||
