| ☞전12:1 | 너는 이제 너의 젊은 날, 곧 재앙의 날이 이르지 않고 "나에게는 즐거움 없다."고 말할 해가 가까워 오기 전에 너의 창조주를 기억하라. Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; | |||
| ☞전12:2 | 해나 빛, 달이나 별들이 어두워지지 않은 때, 비 뒤에 구름이 다시 돌아오지 않은 때에 그리하라. While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain： | |||
| ☞전12:3 | 그 날에는 집을 지키는 자들이 떨겠고 건장한 남자들이 스스로 굴복할 것이며 그들의 수가 적음으로 맷돌질하는 자들이 그칠 것이라. 또 창문 밖에 보이는 것들이 어두워질 것이며 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened, | |||
| ☞전12:4 | 거리의 문들이 닫혀지겠고 맷돌질 소리가 낮아질 것이요, 새 소리로 인하여 그가 일어날 것이며 음악하는 모든 딸들이 조용하게 되리라. And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low; | |||
| ☞전12:5 | 또한 그때에 그들은 높은 데 있는 것을 두려워하겠고 두려움이 길에 있을 것이며, 아몬드나무가 번성할 것이요 메뚜기도 짐이 되며 욕구도 없어지리니, 이는 사람이 자기의 영원한 집으로 가며 애곡하는 사람들이 거리들을 이리저리 다니기 때문이라. Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail： because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets： | |||
| ☞전12:6 | 또한 은줄이 풀리고 금그릇이 깨지고 바가지가 우물에서 깨지고 수레바퀴가 저수지에서 깨지리로다. Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. | |||
| ☞전12:7 | 그때에 흙은 예전에 있던 대로 땅으로 돌아가고 영은 그것을 주셨던 하나님께로 돌아가리라. Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was： and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. | |||
| ☞전12:8 | 헛되고 헛되도다. 전도자가 말하노니, 모든 것이 헛되도다. Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity. | |||
| ☞전12:9 | 더군다나 전도자가 현명함으로 백성들에게 여전히 지식을 가르쳤으니, 곧 그가 주의를 기울이고 탐구하여 많은 잠언을 정리하였도다. And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs. | |||
| ☞전12:10 | 전도자가 합당한 말을 찾아 내려 애썼으니 여기 기록된 것이요, 정직하며 진리의 말씀이라. The preacher sought to find out acceptable words： and that which was written was upright, even words of truth. | |||
| ☞전12:11 | 현명한 자의 말들은 찌르는 채찍들 같고, 집회의 선생들에 의해 박힌 못들 같으니, 한 목자에게서 받은 것이라. The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd. | |||
| ☞전12:12 | 내 아들아, 이것들로 더욱 각성하라. 많은 책을 만드는 것은 끝이 없고, 많은 공부는 몸을 피곤케 하느니라. And further, by these, my son, be admonished： of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. | |||
| ☞전12:13 | 전체 일의 결론을 들을지니, 하나님을 두려워하고 그의 계명들을 지키라. 이것이 사람의 모든 의무니 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter： Fear God, and keep his commandments： for this is the whole duty of man. | |||
| ☞전12:14 | 이는 하나님께서 선이든 악이든 모든 행위와 모든 은밀한 것들을 심판하실 것임이라. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. | |||
