| ☞느1:1 | 하칼랴의 아들 느헤미야의 말이라. 제 이십년 키슬루 월에 내가 수산 궁에 있을 때의 일이라. The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah. And it came to pass in the month Chisleu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace, | |||
| ☞느1:2 | 나의 형제 중 하나인 하나니가 유다 사람 몇 명과 왔기에, 사로잡힘을 면하여 피한 유대인들과 예루살렘에 관하여 내가 그들에게 물으니 That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem. | |||
| ☞느1:3 | 그들이 내게 말하기를 "사로잡힘을 면하여 남은 자들이 그 지방에서 큰 고난과 능욕 가운데 있으며, 예루살렘 성벽도 허물어졌고, 그 성읍들도 불태워졌도다." 하니라. And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach： the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire. | |||
| ☞느1:4 | 내가 이 말을 듣고 나서 앉아 울며 며칠 동안 애도하여 금식하고 하늘의 하나님 앞에 기도하며 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven, | |||
| ☞느1:5 | 말하기를 "오 하늘의 주 하나님이여, 위대하시고 두려우신 하나님이여, 주께 내가 간구하오니, 주께서는 자기를 사랑하고 자기의 계명들을 준수하는 자들에게 언약을 지키시나이다. And said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments： | |||
| ☞느1:6 | 이제 주의 귀를 기울이시고 주의 눈을 여시어, 이제 주 앞에서 주의 종들인 이스라엘 자손을 위하여 주야로 기도하는 주의 종의 기도와, 우리가 주께 대하여 범죄한 이스라엘 자손의 죄들을 자백하는 것을 들으소서. 나와 내 아버지의 집이 모두 죄를 지었나이다. Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee： both I and my father's house have sinned. | |||
| ☞느1:7 | 우리가 주께 대하여 심히 타락하게 행하여 주께서 주의 종 모세에게 명하신 계명들과 규례들과 명령들을 지키지 아니하였나이다. We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses. | |||
| ☞느1:8 | 내가 주께 간구하오니, 주께서 주의 종 모세에게 명하여 말씀하시기를 '만일 너희가 범죄하면 내가 너희를 민족들 가운데 흩어 버릴 것이요 Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations： | |||
| ☞느1:9 | 만일 너희가 내게로 돌이켜 내 계명들을 지키고 그것들을 행하면, 너희 가운데 하늘의 맨 끝까지 쫓겨난 자가 있다 할지라도 내가 그들을 거기서 불러 모아 내가 내 이름을 두려고 택한 장소로 그들을 데려오리라.' 하신 그 말씀을 기억하소서. But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there. | |||
| ☞느1:10 | 이제 이들은 주께서 주의 크신 권능과 강한 손으로 구속하신 주의 종이요, 주의 백성이니이다. Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand. | |||
| ☞느1:11 | 오 주여, 내가 주께 간구하오니, 주의 종의 기도와 주의 이름을 두려워하기를 열망하는 주의 종들의 기도에 이제 귀기울이소서. 내가 주께 기도하오니, 오늘 주의 종으로 번영하게 하시어 이 사람의 목전에서 종에게 자비를 베푸소서." 하였으니, 이는 내가 왕의 잔 받쳐든 자였음이라. O LORD, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name： and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer. | |||
