| ☞대상10:1 | 필리스티아인들이 이스라엘과 싸웠는데, 이스라엘 사람들이 필리스티아인들 앞에서 도망하다가 길보아 산에서 죽임을 당하여 쓰러지니라. Now the Philistines fought against Israel; and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa. | |||
| ☞대상10:2 | 필리스티아인들이 사울과 그의 아들들의 뒤를 열심히 쫓았으며, 필리스티아인들이 사울의 아들 요나단과 아비나답과 말키수아를 죽였더라. And the Philistines followed hard after Saul, and after his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchishua, the sons of Saul. | |||
| ☞대상10:3 | 사울을 대적하는 전쟁이 격렬해지자 활 쏘는 자들이 그를 맞추었으니, 그가 활 쏘는 자들로부터 상처를 입으니라. And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him, and he was wounded of the archers. | |||
| ☞대상10:4 | 그때 사울이 그의 병기 든 자에게 말하기를 "네 칼을 빼어 그것으로 나를 찌르라. 저 할례받지 않은 자들이 와서 나를 욕되게 할까 함이라." 하였으나 그의 병기 든 자가 하려 하지 않았으니, 이는 그가 심히 무서워 하였음이더라. 그러자 사울이 칼을 취하여 그 위에 엎드러지니 Then said Saul to his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. | |||
| ☞대상10:5 | 그 병기 든 자가 사울이 죽은 것을 보고 자기도 칼에 엎드러져 죽으니라. And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword, and died. | |||
| ☞대상10:6 | 그리하여 사울이 죽고 그의 세 아들들과 그의 온 집이 함께 죽으니라. So Saul died, and his three sons, and all his house died together. | |||
| ☞대상10:7 | 골짜기에 있는 모든 이스라엘 사람들은 그들이 도망한 것과 사울과 그의 아들들이 죽은 것을 보고 자기들의 성읍들을 버리고 도망하였으니, 필리스티아인들이 와서 거기 거하더라. And when all the men of Israel that were in the valley saw that they fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, then they forsook their cities, and fled： and the Philistines came and dwelt in them. | |||
| ☞대상10:8 | 이튿날이 되어 필리스티아인들이 죽임당한 자를 벗기러 왔다가 사울과 그의 아들들이 길보아 산에서 쓰러진 것을 보고 And it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen in mount Gilboa. | |||
| ☞대상10:9 | 그를 벗기고, 그의 머리와 그의 갑옷을 취하였으며, 필리스티아인들의 땅 사방으로 보내어 그들의 우상들과 그 백성에게 소식을 전달하였더라. And when they had stripped him, they took his head, and his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to carry tidings unto their idols, and to the people. | |||
| ☞대상10:10 | 그들이 사울의 갑옷을 그들의 신당에 두고, 그의 머리는 다곤 신전에 매다니라. And they put his armour in the house of their gods, and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon. | |||
| ☞대상10:11 | 필리스티아인들이 사울에게 행한 모든 것을 온 야베스길르앗이 듣자 And when all Jabeshgilead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul, | |||
| ☞대상10:12 | 용사들이 다 일어나서 사울의 시체와 그의 아들들의 시체를 취하여 야베스로 가져다가 그들의 뼈를 야베스에 있는 상수리나무 아래에 장사하고, 칠 일 간 금식하였더라. They arose, all the valiant men, and took away the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh, and buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted seven days. | |||
| ☞대상10:13 | 그리하여 사울이 죽으니라. 이는 그가 주께 범한 죄 때문이었으니, 그가 주의 말씀을 거역하여 지키지 아니하고, 또 신접한 자에게 조언을 구하여 그것을 묻고 So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; | |||
| ☞대상10:14 | 주께 묻지 아니하였으므로 주께서 그를 죽이시고 왕국을 이새의 아들 다윗에게로 돌이키셨더라. And enquired not of the LORD： therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse. | |||
