| ☞암1:1 | 유다의 웃시야왕의 때요, 이스라엘의 요아스왕의 아들 여로보암의 때, 지진이 나기 이 년 전에 트코아의 목동들 가운데 있었던 아모스의 말씀들로, 그가 이스라엘에 관하여 본 것이라. The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake. | |||
| ☞암1:2 | 그가 말하였도다. 주께서 시온에서부터 포효하시며 예루살렘에서부터 그의 음성을 내시리니, 목자들의 처소들은 애통하며 칼멜 산 꼭대기는 마르리라. And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither. | |||
| ☞암1:3 | 주가 이같이 말하노라. 다마스커스의 서너 가지 죄과들로 인해 내가 그 벌을 돌이키지 아니하리니, 이는 그들이 철로 된 타작 기계로 길르앗을 타작하였음이라. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron： | |||
| ☞암1:4 | 그러나 내가 하사엘의 집에 불을 보낼 것이요, 그 불이 벤하닷의 궁전들을 삼키리라. But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad. | |||
| ☞암1:5 | 또한 내가 다마스커스의 빗장을 부수고 아웬 평지로부터 그 거민을 끊을 것이요, 에덴의 집으로부터 홀을 잡은 자를 끊으리라. 또 시리아 백성이 킬로 사로잡혀 가리라. 주가 말하노라. I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden： and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD. | |||
| ☞암1:6 | 주가 이같이 말하노라. 가자의 서너 가지 죄과들로 인해 내가 그 벌을 돌이키지 아니하리니, 이는 그들이 포로 전체를 사로잡아 에돔에 넘겼음이라. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom： | |||
| ☞암1:7 | 그러나 내가 가자의 성벽에 불을 보낼 것이요, 그 불이 그 궁전들을 삼키리라. But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof： | |||
| ☞암1:8 | 내가 아스돗으로부터 그 거민을 끊을 것이요, 아스클론으로부터 홀을 잡은 자를 끊으리라. 또 내가 에크론을 대적하여 내 손을 돌리리니, 그리하면 필리스티아인들의 남은 자가 멸망하리라. 주 하나님이 말하노라. And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron： and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD. | |||
| ☞암1:9 | 주가 이같이 말하노라. 투로의 서너 가지 죄과들로 인해 내가 그 벌을 돌이키지 아니하리니, 이는 그들이 포로 전체를 에돔에 넘겼으며 형제의 언약을 기억하지 아니하였음이라. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant： | |||
| ☞암1:10 | 그러나 내가 투로의 성벽에 불을 보낼 것이요, 그 불이 그 궁전들을 삼키리라. But I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces thereof. | |||
| ☞암1:11 | 주가 이같이 말하노라. 에돔의 서너 가지 죄과들로 인해 내가 그 벌을 돌이키지 아니하리니, 이는 그가 칼로 그의 형제를 쫓았고 모든 연민을 버렸으며, 항상 그의 분노를 터뜨렸고, 그의 진노를 영원히 간직하였음이라. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever： | |||
| ☞암1:12 | 그러나 내가 테만에 불을 보낼 것이요, 그 불이 보스라의 궁전들을 삼키리라. But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah. | |||
| ☞암1:13 | 주가 이같이 말하노라. 암몬 자손의 서너 가지 죄과들로 인해 내가 그 벌을 돌이키지 아니하리니, 이는 그들이 그들의 경계를 넓히려고 길르앗의 아이 밴 여인들의 배를 갈랐음이라. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border： | |||
| ☞암1:14 | 그러나 내가 랍바의 성벽에 불을 붙일 것이요, 그 불이 전쟁의 날에 외침과 회오리바람의 날에 폭풍과 더불어 그 궁전들을 삼키리라. But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind： | |||
| ☞암1:15 | 그러면 그들의 왕은 사로잡혀 가리니, 그와 그의 고관들이 함께 가리라. 주가 말하노라. And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD. | |||
