| ☞암8:1 | 주 하나님께서 내게 보이신 것이 이와 같도다. 여름 과일 한 광주리를 보라. Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me： and behold a basket of summer fruit. | |||
| ☞암8:2 | 그가 말씀하시기를 "아모스야, 네가 무엇을 보느냐?" 하시기에 내가 말씀드리기를 "여름 과일 한 광주리니이다." 하였더니, 주께서 내게 말씀하셨도다. 내 백성 이스라엘에게 끝이 왔도다. 내가 다시는 그들을 지나가지 않으리라. And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more. | |||
| ☞암8:3 | 그 날에는 성전의 노래들이 애곡이 될 것이니라. 주 하나님이 말하노라. 모든 곳에 많은 시체들이 있으리니 사람들이 그것들을 조용히 내어 버리리라. And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD： there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence. | |||
| ☞암8:4 | 오, 궁핍한 자를 삼키며 그 땅의 가난한 자를 망하게 하는 너희야, 이 말을 들으라. Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail, | |||
| ☞암8:5 | 너희는 말하기를 "언제 새 달이 지나서 우리가 곡식을 팔 수 있을까? 언제 안식일이 지나서 우리가 밀을 내놓되, 에바를 작게 하고 세켈을 크게 하여 저울을 거짓으로 속일 수 있을까? Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit? | |||
| ☞암8:6 | 그리하여 우리가 은으로 가난한 자를 사며 신 한 켤레로 궁핍한 자를 사고, 참으로, 밀 찌꺼기를 팔 수 있을까?" 하는도다. That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat? | |||
| ☞암8:7 | 주는 야곱의 탁월함으로 맹세하기를 "내가 그들의 일들 중 어떤 것도 결코 잊지 아니하리라." 하였느니라. The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works. | |||
| ☞암8:8 | 이로 인하여 땅이 떨지 않겠으며, 그 안에 거하는 모든 사람이 애통해 하지 않겠느냐? 그 땅이 전부 홍수처럼 일어날 것이며, 또 그 땅이 이집트의 홍수에 의한 것처럼 버려지고 잠기리라. Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. | |||
| ☞암8:9 | 주 하나님이 말하노라. 그 날에는 내가 정오에 해를 지게 하며 대낮에 땅을 어둡게 하리라. And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day： | |||
| ☞암8:10 | 또 내가 너희의 명절들을 애통으로, 너희의 모든 노래들을 애가로 변하게 하리라. 또 내가 모든 허리들에 굵은 베옷을 가져올 것이요, 모든 머리들로 대머리가 되게 하며, 또 내가 외아들로 인한 애통으로, 그 끝을 쓰라린 날로 만들리라. And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day. | |||
| ☞암8:11 | 주 하나님이 말하노니, 보라, 그 날이 오리라. 내가 그 땅에 기근을 보내리니, 빵의 기근도 아니요, 물로 인한 갈증도 아니라, 오직 주의 말씀들을 듣지 못하는 기근이니라. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD： | |||
| ☞암8:12 | 사람들이 바다에서 바다까지, 북쪽에서 동쪽까지 방황할 것이요, 사람들이 주의 말씀을 찾으려고 이리저리 달릴 것이나 그것을 찾지 못하리라. And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. | |||
| ☞암8:13 | 그 날에는 아름다운 처녀들과 청년들이 갈증으로 인하여 기진하리라. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst. | |||
| ☞암8:14 | 사마리아의 죄로 맹세하고 말하기를 "오 단이여, 네 신이 살아 있도다." 하며 "브엘세바의 방식은 살아 있도다." 하는 자들, 그들은 쓰러져서 결코 다시 일어나지 못하리라. They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again. | |||
