| ☞호8:1 | 나팔을 네 입에 두라. 그가 주의 집을 대적하여 독수리처럼 오리니, 이는 그들이 나의 언약을 어겼고 나의 율법을 범하였음이니라. Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law. | |||
| ☞호8:2 | 이스라엘이 내게 부르짖기를 "나의 하나님, 우리가 주를 아나이다." 하리라. Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee. | |||
| ☞호8:3 | 이스라엘은 선한 것을 내버렸으니 그 원수가 그를 쫓으리라. Israel hath cast off the thing that is good： the enemy shall pursue him. | |||
| ☞호8:4 | 그들이 왕들을 세웠으나 나로 말미암지 아니하였고, 그들이 고관들을 세웠으나 나는 모르는 바이며, 그들이 그들의 은과 금으로 그들에게 우상들을 만들었으니 그들이 멸망하게 되리라. They have set up kings, but not by me： they have made princes, and I knew it not： of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off. | |||
| ☞호8:5 | 오 사마리아야, 네 송아지가 너를 버렸느니라. 내 분노가 그들을 향하여 타오르나니 그들이 무죄하게 되기까지는 얼마나 걸리겠느냐? Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled against them： how long will it be ere they attain to innocency? | |||
| ☞호8:6 | 그것은 또한 이스라엘로부터 나온 것이요, 장인이 만든 것이라. 그러므로 그것은 하나님이 아니니라. 그러나 사마리아의 송아지는 산산이 부서지리라. For from Israel was it also： the workman made it; therefore it is not God： but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces. | |||
| ☞호8:7 | 이는 그들이 바람으로 심었으니 회오리바람으로 거둘 것이기 때문이라. 줄기가 없으니 이삭은 열매를 맺지 못할 것이요, 설령 열매를 맺는다 해도 타국인들이 그것을 삼켜 버리리라. For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind： it hath no stalk; the bud shall yield no meal： if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up. | |||
| ☞호8:8 | 이스라엘은 삼킨 바 되었으니, 이제 그들은 이방인들 가운데서 기쁨이 없는 그릇같이 되리라. Israel is swallowed up： now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure. | |||
| ☞호8:9 | 그들은 혼자 있는 들나귀인 앗시리아로 갔고, 에프라임은 연애하는 자들을 고용하였도다. For they are gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself： Ephraim hath hired lovers. | |||
| ☞호8:10 | 정녕, 그들이 민족들 가운데서 고용하였을지라도 이제 내가 그들을 모으리니, 그들은 고관들의 왕이 지워준 짐으로 인하여 다소 슬퍼하리라. Yea, though they have hired among the nations, now will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for the burden of the king of princes. | |||
| ☞호8:11 | 에프라임이 많은 제단을 만들어 죄를 지었으니, 제단들이 그를 범죄하게 하리라. Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin. | |||
| ☞호8:12 | 내가 그를 위하여 내 율법의 많은 것들을 기록하였으나, 그것들이 이상한 것으로 여겨졌도다. I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. | |||
| ☞호8:13 | 그들이 내 제물의 희생제들을 위하여 고기로 희생제를 드리고 그것을 먹으나, 주는 그것들을 기뻐하지 아니하는도다. 이제 그가 그들의 죄악을 기억하고 그들의 죄들을 감찰하리니, 그들이 이집트로 돌아가리라. They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins： they shall return to Egypt. | |||
| ☞호8:14 | 이스라엘은 자기를 지으신 분을 잊어버리고 신전들을 짓고, 유다는 견고한 성읍들을 많이 세웠으나 내가 그의 성읍들 위에 불을 보내리니 불이 그 궁전들을 삼키리라. For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities： but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof. | |||
