| ☞호12:1 | 에프라임은 바람을 먹으며 동풍을 따라가는도다. 그는 날마다 거짓말과 황폐함을 늘리는도다. 그들은 앗시리아인들과 더불어 언약을 맺고, 기름은 이집트로 옮겨지는도다. Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind： he daily increaseth lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt. | |||
| ☞호12:2 | 주께서 또한 유다와 논쟁하시고 야곱을 그의 행위대로 벌하실 것이며 그의 행실대로 그에게 보응하시리라. The LORD hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him. | |||
| ☞호12:3 | 그는 태에서 그의 형의 발뒤꿈치를 잡았고, 또 자기 힘으로 하나님과 힘을 겨루었도다. He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God： | |||
| ☞호12:4 | 정녕, 그가 천사와 힘을 겨루어 이겼고, 그가 울며 그에게 간구하였으며, 그가 벧엘에서 천사를 만났고 거기에서 그가 우리와 말하였으니 Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed： he wept, and made supplication unto him： he found him in Bethel, and there he spake with us; | |||
| ☞호12:5 | 곧 만군의 주 하나님이시요, 주는 그의 기념이니라. Even the LORD God of hosts; the LORD is his memorial. | |||
| ☞호12:6 | 그러므로 너는 네 하나님께로 돌이켜서 자비와 공의를 지키며 네 하나님을 끊임없이 바라라. Therefore turn thou to thy God： keep mercy and judgment and wait on thy God continually. | |||
| ☞호12:7 | 그는 상인이요, 그의 손에는 속임수의 저울이 있으며 그는 압제를 사랑하는도다. He is a merchant, the balances of deceit are in his hand： he loveth to oppress. | |||
| ☞호12:8 | 에프라임이 말하기를 "그러나 나는 부자가 되었도다. 내가 재물을 얻었으니 그들이 나의 모든 수고 가운데서 죄가 된 어떤 불의도 발견하지 못하리라." 하였도다. And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance： in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin. | |||
| ☞호12:9 | 이집트 땅에서부터 주 너의 하나님인 나는 엄숙한 명절의 날들과 같이 너를 성막에 거하게 하리라. And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast. | |||
| ☞호12:10 | 내가 또한 선지자들을 통하여 말하였고, 내가 환상들을 많이 늘렸으며 선지자들의 사역을 통해서 비유를 사용했노라. I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets. | |||
| ☞호12:11 | 길르앗에 죄악이 있느냐? 그들은 실로 헛되도다. 그들은 길갈에서 수송아지로 희생제를 드리며 그들의 제단은 밭고랑에 있는 돌무더기 같도다. Is there iniquity in Gilead? surely they are vanity： they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal; yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields. | |||
| ☞호12:12 | 야곱은 시리아 지방으로 도망하였고, 이스라엘은 아내를 위하여 섬겼으니 그가 아내를 위하여 양을 쳤도다. And Jacob fled into the country of Syria, and Israel served for a wife, and for a wife he kept sheep. | |||
| ☞호12:13 | 주께서는 한 선지자를 시켜서 이스라엘을 이집트에서 데리고 나오셨으니, 한 선지자로 인하여 그가 보존되었도다. And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved. | |||
| ☞호12:14 | 에프라임이 지독하게 주를 분노케 하였으므로 주께서 그의 피를 그에게 남겨 놓으실 것이요, 그의 주께서는 그의 책망을 그에게로 돌리시리라. Ephraim provoked him to anger most bitterly： therefore shall he leave his blood upon him, and his reproach shall his LORD return unto him. | |||
