| ☞호13:1 | 에프라임이 떨며 말할 때 그가 이스라엘 가운데서 자신을 높였으나, 그가 바알로 범죄할 때 그는 죽었느니라. When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died. | |||
| ☞호13:2 | 이제 그들이 더욱더 죄를 짓고 자기들을 위하여 그들의 은으로 형상들을 부어 만들고 자기들의 고안대로 우상들을 만들었으니, 그 모두가 장인들이 만든 것이라. 그들이 그것들에 대해 말하기를 "희생제를 드리는 자들은 송아지들에게 입맞출지니라." 하는도다. And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen： they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves. | |||
| ☞호13:3 | 그러므로 그들은 아침 구름과 같고 사라지는 이른 이슬 같으며, 타작마당에서 회오리바람에 날리는 겨 같고 굴뚝에서 나는 연기 같으리라. Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney. | |||
| ☞호13:4 | 그러나 나는 이집트 땅에서부터 주 너의 하나님이라. 너는 나 외에 어떤 신도 알지 말지니라. 이는 나 외에는 구원자가 없음이니라. Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me： for there is no saviour beside me. | |||
| ☞호13:5 | 나는 광야의 지극히 메마른 땅에서 너를 알았노라. I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought. | |||
| ☞호13:6 | 그들의 초장에 따라 그들이 배불렀으니, 그들이 배불렀으므로 마음이 교만해져 나를 잊었느니라. According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me. | |||
| ☞호13:7 | 그러므로 나는 그들에게 사자같이 될 것이요, 나는 그들을 주시하는 길가의 표범같이 되리라. Therefore I will be unto them as a lion： as a leopard by the way will I observe them： | |||
| ☞호13:8 | 나는 새끼들을 잃은 곰처럼 그들을 만날 것이요, 그들의 심장의 꺼풀을 찢고 거기에서 내가 그들을 사자처럼 먹어 치울 것이니, 들짐승이 그들을 찢으리라. I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps, and will rend the caul of their heart, and there will I devour them like a lion： the wild beast shall tear them. | |||
| ☞호13:9 | 오 이스라엘아, 네가 네 자신을 멸망시켰도다. 그러나 너의 도움은 내게 있느니라. O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help. | |||
| ☞호13:10 | 내가 네 왕이 되리니, 네 모든 성읍에서 너를 구원해 줄 다른 이가 어디 있으며, 네가 말하기를 "왕과 고관들을 내게 주소서."라고 했던 네 재판관들이 어디 있느냐? I will be thy king： where is any other that may save thee in all thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and princes? | |||
| ☞호13:11 | 내가 나의 분노로 네게 왕을 주었고 나의 진노로 그를 폐하였도다. I gave thee a king in mine anger, and took him away in my wrath. | |||
| ☞호13:12 | 에프라임의 죄악이 묶여 있고 그의 죄는 감추어져 있도다. The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is hid. | |||
| ☞호13:13 | 진통하는 여인의 슬픔이 그에게 임하리라. 그는 현명하지 못한 아들이니, 이는 그가 아이들을 낳는 자리에 오래 머물러서는 안되기 때문이라. The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him： he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children. | |||
| ☞호13:14 | 내가 그들을 음부의 권세로부터 속량하며 내가 그들을 사망으로부터 구속하리니, 오 사망아, 내가 네 재앙이 될 것이요, 오 음부야, 내가 네 멸망이 되리라. 회개가 내 목전에서 숨겨지리라. I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death： O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction： repentance shall be hid from mine eyes. | |||
| ☞호13:15 | 그가 비록 그의 형제들 가운데서 열매를 많이 맺는다 할지라도, 동풍이 올 것이요 주의 바람이 광야로부터 오리라. 그러면 그의 물 근원은 마를 것이요, 그의 샘은 말라 버리리니, 그가 모든 아름다운 기명들이 있는 보물창고를 약탈해 가리라. Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up： he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels. | |||
| ☞호13:16 | 사마리아는 황폐하게 되리라. 이는 그녀가 그녀의 하나님을 대적하여 반역하였음이니, 그들은 칼에 쓰러질 것이며 그들의 아기들은 내던져져 산산조각 날 것이요, 그들의 아이를 밴 여자들은 찢겨지리라. Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God： they shall fall by the sword： their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up. | |||
