| ☞딤전1:2 | 믿음 안에서 나의 아들 된 디모데에게 편지하노니 하나님 우리 아버지와 예수 그리스도 우리 주로부터 은혜와 자비와 평강이 있을지어다. Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith： Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. | |||
| ☞딤전1:3 | 내가 마케도니아로 가면서 너로 하여금 에베소에 머무르라고 권면한 것은 네가 어떤 사람들을 명하여 그들로 다른 교리를 가르치지 못하게 하고 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, | |||
| ☞딤전1:4 | 꾸며낸 이야기와 끝없는 족보에 몰두하지 못하게 하려 함이니, 이런 것은 믿음 안에 있는 경건한 덕을 세우기보다는 오히려 의문을 일으킴이라. Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith： so do. | |||
| ☞딤전1:5 | 이제, 계명의 목적은 순수한 마음과 선한 양심과 가식없는 믿음에서 나오는 사랑이거늘 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned： | |||
| ☞딤전1:6 | 어떤 사람들은 이런 것들에서 벗어나서 헛된 언쟁에 빠져 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; | |||
| ☞딤전1:7 | 율법 선생이 되고자 하나 자기가 말하는 것이나 주장하는 것에 대해서도 이해하지 못하느니라. Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. | |||
| ☞딤전1:8 | 그러나 사람이 율법을 합법적으로만 사용하면 율법이 선한 것인 줄 아노라. But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; | |||
| ☞딤전1:9 | 알 것은 이것이니, 율법은 의로운 사람을 위하여 제정된 것이 아니라, 불법자들과, 순종하지 않는 자들과, 경건치 않은 자들과, 죄인들과, 거룩하지 않은 자들과, 속된 자들과, 아비를 죽이는 자들과, 어미를 죽이는 자들과, 살인자들과 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, | |||
| ☞딤전1:10 | 음행하는 자들과, 남자로 자신을 더럽히는 자들과, 유괴하는 자들과, 거짓말하는 자들과, 거짓되이 맹세하는 자들과 그 밖에 건전한 교리에 역행하는 것들을 위함이니 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; | |||
| ☞딤전1:11 | 이는 복되신 하나님의 영광스러운 복음에 따른 것이며, 이 복음은 내게 맡겨진 것이라. According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. | |||
| ☞딤전1:12 | 나는 내게 능력 주신 그리스도 예수 우리 주께 감사하노니, 이는 그 분께서 나를 신실하게 여기셔서 내게 직분을 맡기심이라. And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; | |||
| ☞딤전1:13 | 전에는 내가 하나님을 모독하는 자요, 박해하는 자요, 중상하는 자였으나 오히려 자비를 입은 것은 내가 믿지 아니하였을 때 모르고 행하였음이라. Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious： but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. | |||
| ☞딤전1:14 | 우리 주의 은혜가 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음과 사랑과 더불어 넘치도록 풍성하였도다. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. | |||
| ☞딤전1:15 | 그리스도 예수께서 죄인들을 구원하시려고 세상에 오셨다는 이 말씀은 신실하며, 온전히 받아들이기에 합당하도다. 죄인들 중에서 내가 우두머리라. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. | |||
| ☞딤전1:16 | 그러나 내가 자비를 입은 것은 이 때문이니 곧 내 안에서 예수 그리스도께서 먼저 온전한 오래 참으심을 보여 주셔서 후에 그를 믿고 영생을 얻는 자들에게 본이 되게 하려 하심이니라. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. | |||
| ☞딤전1:17 | 이제 영원하신 왕, 썩지 아니하시고, 보이지 아니하시고, 홀로 지혜로우신 하나님께 존귀와 영광이 영원 무궁토록 있을지어다. 아멘. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. | |||
| ☞딤전1:18 | 아들 디모데야, 내가 너에게 부탁하노니 전에 너에게 주어진 예언들을 따라 그것으로 선한 싸움을 싸우며 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; | |||
| ☞딤전1:19 | 믿음과 선한 양심을 붙들라. 어떤 사람들은 믿음에 대한 선한 양심을 내던지므로 파선하였느니라. Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck： | |||
| ☞딤전1:20 | 그들 가운데 후메내오와 알렉산더가 있는데 내가 그들을 사탄에게 내어 준 것은 그들로 하나님을 모독하지 못하도록 배우게 하려는 것이라. Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme. | |||
