| ☞에7:1 | 그리하여 왕과 하만이 왕후 에스더와 함께 잔치에 나가니 So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen. | |||
| ☞에7:2 | 왕이 둘째 날 술 잔치에서 에스더에게 다시 말하기를 "왕후 에스더여, 그대의 청이 무엇이냐? 그대에게 그것을 허락하겠노라. 그대의 소원이 무엇이냐? 그것이 왕국의 절반이라 할지라도 시행하겠노라." 하니 And the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted thee： and what is thy request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom. | |||
| ☞에7:3 | 왕후 에스더가 대답하여 말하기를 "오 왕이여, 만일 내가 왕의 목전에서 은총을 입었다면, 또 왕께서 기뻐하신다면, 나의 청대로 내 생명을 내게 주시고 나의 소원대로 내 백성을 내게 주소서. Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request： | |||
| ☞에7:4 | 이는 나와 내 백성이 팔려서 멸망당하고 죽임을 당하고 진멸당하게 되었음이니이다. 그러나 만일 우리가 남자 노예와 여자 노예로 팔렸더라면, 비록 원수가 왕의 손해를 보상하지 못하였다 할지라도 내가 잠잠하였겠나이다." 하더라. For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king's damage. | |||
| ☞에7:5 | 아하수에로왕이 왕후 에스더에게 대답하여 말하기를 "감히 그런 일 행하기를 마음에 품은 자가 누구이며 그 자가 어디 있느냐?" 하니 Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so? | |||
| ☞에7:6 | 에스더가 말하기를 "그 대적과 원수는 이 악한 하만이니이다." 하니 하만이 왕과 왕후 앞에서 무서워하더라. And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen. | |||
| ☞에7:7 | 왕이 화가 나서 술 잔치에서 일어나 왕궁 정원으로 나가자, 하만이 왕후 에스더에게 자기 생명을 구하려고 일어났으니, 이는 왕이 자기에게 화를 내리기로 결심한 줄 앎이더라. And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden： and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king. | |||
| ☞에7:8 | 그때 왕이 왕궁 정원에서 술 잔치 자리로 돌아오니, 하만이 에스더가 있는 침상 위에 엎드려 있는지라, 왕이 말하기를 "그가 궁 안 내 앞에서 왕후도 굴복시키려 하는가?" 하니라. 이 말이 왕의 입에서 나오자 사람들이 하만의 얼굴을 싸더라. Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of king's mouth, they covered Haman's face. | |||
| ☞에7:9 | 내시 중 하나인 할보나가 왕 앞에서 말하기를 "높이 오십 큐빗의 교수대가 하만의 집에 서 있는 것을 또한 보소서. 하만이 왕을 위하여 좋은 조언을 한 모르드캐를 매달려고 만든 것이니이다." 하니 왕이 말하기를 "하만을 그 위에 매달라." 하더라. And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon. | |||
| ☞에7:10 | 그리하여 사람들이 하만이 모르드캐를 위하여 준비한 교수대에 하만을 매달았더라. 그때서야 왕의 분노가 그치니라. So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king's wrath pacified. | |||
