| ☞살전1:1 | 바울과 실루아노와 디모데는 하나님 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 데살로니가인들의 교회에 편지하노니 은혜와 평강이 하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도로부터 너희에게 있기를 바라노라. Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ： Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. | |||
| ☞살전1:2 | 우리가 기도할 때에 너희를 말하며 너희 모두에 대하여 항상 하나님께 감사함은 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; | |||
| ☞살전1:3 | 우리 주 예수 그리스도 안에서 너희의 믿음의 역사와 사랑의 수고와 소망의 인내를 하나님 우리 아버지 앞에서 쉬지 않고 기억함이니 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; | |||
| ☞살전1:4 | 사랑하는 형제들아, 너희가 하나님을 선택한 것을 아노라. Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God. | |||
| ☞살전1:5 | 이는 우리의 복음이 말로만 너희에게 이른 것이 아니라 능력과 성령과 대단한 확신으로 된 것이니 우리가 너희 가운데서 너희를 위하여 어떻게 했다는 것을 너희도 아는 바라. For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. | |||
| ☞살전1:6 | 또 너희가 성령의 기쁨으로 많은 환난 가운데서 그 말씀을 받아들여 우리와 주를 따르는 자들이 되었으므로 And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost. | |||
| ☞살전1:7 | 마케도니아와 아카야에서 믿는 모든 자들에게 본이 되었느니라. So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia. | |||
| ☞살전1:8 | 이는 주의 말씀이 너희로부터 마케도니아와 아카야에서 뿐만 아니라, 하나님을 향하는 너희의 믿음이 퍼져 있는 모든 곳에도 전해졌으므로 우리는 아무것도 말할 필요가 없게 되었노라. For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. | |||
| ☞살전1:9 | 그들이 우리에 관하여 스스로 말하기를 우리가 어떤 방법으로 너희에게 들어갔으며 또 너희가 어떻게 우상으로부터 하나님께로 돌아서서 살아 계시며 참되신 하나님을 섬기며 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; | |||
| ☞살전1:10 | 또 하나님께서 죽은 자들로부터 살리신 그 분의 아들, 즉 다가올 진노로부터 우리를 구해 내신 예수께서 하늘로부터 오심을 기다린다고 하느니라. And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. | |||
