| ☞애1:1 | 어찌하여 백성으로 가득 찼던 성읍이 따로 앉아 있으며, 어찌하여 그녀가 과부처럼 되었는가! 민족들 가운데서 위대했으며 여러 지방들 가운데서 공주였던 그녀가, 어찌하여 조공을 바치게 되었는가! How doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people! how is she become as a widow! she that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary! | |||
| ☞애1:2 | 그녀가 밤중에 심히 우니 눈물이 뺨에 흐르는도다. 그녀를 위로할 자가 그녀의 모든 애인들 가운데도 없으며, 그녀의 모든 친구들도 그녀를 배신하여 원수들이 되었도다. She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks： among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her： all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies. | |||
| ☞애1:3 | 유다는 고난과 큰 수고로 인하여 사로잡혀 갔으니 그녀가 이방 가운데 거하여 쉼을 얻지 못하며, 그녀의 모든 박해자들이 그녀를 협곡 사이에서 덮쳤도다. Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude： she dwelleth among the heathen, she findeth no rest： all her persecutors overtook her between the straits. | |||
| ☞애1:4 | 시온의 길들이 애곡하니 이는 엄숙한 명절들에 오는 사람이 아무도 없음이라. 그녀의 성문들이 황량하며 그녀의 제사장들이 탄식하고 그녀의 처녀들은 괴로움을 당하니 그녀가 비통함 가운데 있도다. The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts： all her gates are desolate： her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness. | |||
| ☞애1:5 | 그녀의 대적들은 우두머리이며 그녀의 원수들은 번성하나니, 이는 주께서 그녀의 많은 죄들로 인하여 그녀에게 고통을 주셨음이라. 그녀의 자녀들이 원수 앞에서 사로잡혀 갔도다. Her adversaries are the chief, her enemies prosper; for the LORD hath afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions： her children are gone into captivity before the enemy. | |||
| ☞애1:6 | 시온의 딸에게서는 그녀의 모든 아름다움이 떠났으며 그녀의 왕자들은 초장을 찾지 못한 수사슴들같이 되어 추격하는 자들 앞에서 힘 없이 갔도다. And from the daughter of Zion all her beauty is departed： her princes are become like harts that find no pasture, and they are gone without strength before the pursuer. | |||
| ☞애1:7 | 예루살렘이 고통과 불행한 나날 중에서 그녀가 옛날에 누렸던 모든 즐거운 일들을 기억하니, 그녀의 백성이 원수의 손에 쓰러지나 돕는 자가 아무도 없을 때라. 대적들이 그녀를 보고 그녀의 안식일들을 조롱하였도다. Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when her people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her： the adversaries saw her, and did mock at her sabbaths. | |||
| ☞애1:8 | 예루살렘이 심히 죄를 지음으로 그녀가 버림을 받았도다. 그녀를 높여 주던 모든 자들이 그녀를 멸시하니, 이는 그들이 그녀의 벌거벗음을 보았음이라. 실로, 그녀가 탄식하며 뒤로 돌이켰도다. Jerusalem hath grievously sinned; therefore she is removed： all that honoured her despise her, because they have seen her nakedness： yea, she sigheth, and turneth backward. | |||
| ☞애1:9 | 그녀의 더러움이 치마 속에 있으나 그녀는 그 종국을 기억하지 않는도다. 그러므로 그녀가 놀랍도록 낮아졌으니 그녀에게 위로자가 없도다. 오 주여, 나의 고난을 보옵소서. 이는 그 원수가 스스로를 크게 하였음이니이다. Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembereth not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfully： she had no comforter. O LORD, behold my affliction： for the enemy hath magnified himself. | |||
| ☞애1:10 | 그녀가 좋아하는 모든 것에 대적이 손을 폈나이다. 주께서 이방인은 주의 회중으로 들어가지 못하도록 명하셨으나, 그녀는 그들이 성소로 들어가는 것을 보았나이다. The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things： for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation. | |||
| ☞애1:11 | 그녀의 모든 백성이 탄식하고, 그들이 빵을 구하며, 그들이 혼을 소생케 하려고 음식을 위해 자기들의 귀중한 것들을 주었나이다. 오 주여, 보시고 유념하소서. 내가 비천하게 되었나이다. All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul： see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile. | |||
| ☞애1:12 | 지나가는 너희 모든 자들아, 이 일이 너희에게는 아무것도 아니냐? 보라, 내게 있었던 나의 슬픔과 같은 슬픔이 있는지 살펴 보라. 주께서 그의 맹렬한 진노의 날에 그 슬픔으로 나를 괴롭게 하셨도다. Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger. | |||
| ☞애1:13 | 그가 위로부터 내 뼈들에 불을 보내시니 그 불이 그것들을 이겼고, 주께서 내 발에 그물을 펴사 나를 돌아서게 하셨으며, 그가 나를 온종일 황량하게 하셨고 나약하게 하셨도다. From above hath he sent fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them： he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back： he hath made me desolate and faint all the day. | |||
| ☞애1:14 | 내 죄악의 멍에를 그의 손으로 얽으시니 그것들이 휘감겨 내 목에까지 올라왔으며, 내 힘을 빠지게 하시어 주께서 나를 그들의 손에 넘기셨으니 내가 그들로부터 일어설 수 없도다. The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand： they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck： he hath made my strength to fall, the LORD hath delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up. | |||
| ☞애1:15 | 주께서 내 한가운데서 내 모든 용사를 발 밑에서 짓밟으시고, 그가 한 회중을 부르셔서 내 젊은이들을 밟아 뭉개어 나를 치게 하셨도다. 주께서는 유다의 딸인 그 처녀를 포도즙틀에서처럼 짓밟으셨도다. The LORD hath trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me： he hath called an assembly against me to crush my young men： the LORD hath trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a winepress. | |||
| ☞애1:16 | 이 일들로 인하여 내가 울어 내 눈에서, 내 눈에서 눈물이 흘러내리는도다. 이는 내 혼을 소생케 할 위로자가 나로부터 멀리 있음이라. 내 자녀들이 황량하게 되었으니 이는 그 원수가 이겼음이로다. For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me： my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed. | |||
| ☞애1:17 | 시온이 두 손을 폈으나 그녀를 위로해 줄 자가 없도다. 주께서 야곱에 관해 명하사 그의 대적들로 그를 에워싸게 하시니, 예루살렘이 그들 가운데 월경하는 여인과 같이 되었도다. Zion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her： the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him： Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them. | |||
| ☞애1:18 | 주는 의로우시도다. 내가 그의 명령을 거역하였노라. 모든 백성아, 내가 청하노니 들으라. 그리고 나의 슬픔을 보라. 나의 처녀들과 나의 청년들이 사로잡혀 갔도다. The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment： hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow： my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity. | |||
| ☞애1:19 | 내가 나의 애인들을 불렀으나 그들이 나를 속였으며, 나의 제사장들과 나의 장로들이 그들의 혼을 소생케 하려고 음식을 구하다가 성읍 안에서 숨을 거두었도다. I called for my lovers, but they deceived me： my priests and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their meat to relieve their souls. | |||
| ☞애1:20 | 오 주여, 보시옵소서. 이는 내가 고난중에 있고 내 창자가 끓어 오르며, 내 마음이 내 안에서 뒤집혔고 내가 크게 거역하였음이니이다. 밖으로는 칼이 생명을 빼앗고 안으로는 사망 같은 것이 있나이다. Behold, O LORD; for I am in distress： my bowels are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled： abroad the sword bereaveth, at home there is as death. | |||
| ☞애1:21 | 내가 탄식하는 것을 그들이 들었으나 나를 위로할 자가 없으며, 내 모든 원수들이 나의 고난을 들었으나 그들은 주께서 그것을 행하셨음을 기뻐하나이다. 주께서 부르셨던 그 날을 주께서 오게 하시리니 그들이 나와 같이 되리이다. They have heard that I sigh： there is none to comfort me： all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done it： thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me. | |||
| ☞애1:22 | 그들의 사악함을 모두 주 앞에 나타내시고 나의 모든 죄악으로 인하여 내게 행하신 것같이 그들에게도 행하시옵소서. 이는 나의 탄식이 많고 나의 마음이 위약함이니다. Let all their wickedness come before thee; and do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions： for my sighs are many, and my heart is faint. | |||
