| ☞아5:1 | 나의 누이, 나의 신부야, 내가 나의 동산에 들어와 나의 몰약과 나의 향료를 거두고 나의 벌집을 나의 꿀과 더불어 먹었으며, 내가 나의 포도주를 나의 젖과 더불어 마셨도다. 오 친구들아, 먹으라. 오 사랑하는 사람들아, 마시라, 실로 풍부히 마시라. I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse： I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk： eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved. | |||
| ☞아5:2 | 내가 잘지라도 내 마음은 깨어 있나니 두드리는 것은 내 사랑하는 이의 음성이라. 말하기를 나의 누이, 나의 사랑, 나의 비둘기, 나의 더럽혀지지 않은 이야, 내게 문을 열어다오. 나의 머리는 이슬로, 나의 머리타래는 밤이슬로 가득하도다. I sleep, but my heart waketh： it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled： for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night. | |||
| ☞아5:3 | 내가 나의 겉옷을 벗었으니 어찌 다시 입으리요? 내가 나의 발을 씻었으니 어찌 다시 더럽히리요? I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them? | |||
| ☞아5:4 | 나의 사랑하는 이가 문구멍으로 그의 손을 들이미니 그에게로 내 마음이 움직였도다. My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, and my bowels were moved for him. | |||
| ☞아5:5 | 내가 나의 사랑하는 이에게 문을 열어 주려고 일어나니 내 손에서는 몰약이 떨어지고 내 손가락에서는 향기로운 몰약이 문 손잡이 위에 떨어지는도다. I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock. | |||
| ☞아5:6 | 내가 나의 사랑하는 이에게 문을 열었으나 나의 사랑하는 이는 물러나서 가 버렸도다. 그가 말했을 때 나의 혼은 낙망하였도다. 내가 그를 찾았으나 발견할 수 없었고, 내가 그를 불렀으나 그는 내게 응답하지 않았도다. I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone： my soul failed when he spake： I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer. | |||
| ☞아5:7 | 성읍을 돌아다니는 파수꾼들이 나를 발견하더니 나를 쳐서 상처를 입혔으며 성벽을 지키는 자들은 내게서 나의 너울을 빼앗아 갔도다. The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me. | |||
| ☞아5:8 | 오 예루살렘의 딸들아, 내가 너희에게 부탁하노니 너희가 나의 사랑하는 이를 만나거든 너희는 내가 사랑으로 병이 났다고 그에게 말해다오. I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am sick of love. | |||
| ☞아5:9 | 오 너 여자들 중에서 가장 어여쁜 자야, 네가 사랑하는 사람이 남이 사랑하는 사람보다 무엇이 더 나으냐? 네가 사랑하는 사람이 남이 사랑하는 사람보다 무엇이 낫기에 우리에게 이같이 부탁하느냐? What is thy beloved more than another beloved, O thou fairest among women? what is thy beloved more than another beloved, that thou dost so charge us? | |||
| ☞아5:10 | 나의 사랑하는 이는 희고도 붉어 일만 명 가운데 가장 뛰어난 자라. My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. | |||
| ☞아5:11 | 그의 머리는 가장 좋은 정금 같고 그의 머리타래는 많아 까마귀처럼 검도다. His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven. | |||
| ☞아5:12 | 그의 눈은 강가의 비둘기의 눈처럼 젖으로 씻겨 알맞게 박혀 있도다. His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set. | |||
| ☞아5:13 | 그의 뺨은 향나무밭 같으며 향기로운 꽃 같고, 그의 입술은 향기로운 몰약을 떨어뜨리는 백합꽃 같도다. His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers： his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh. | |||
| ☞아5:14 | 그의 손은 녹보석이 박힌 금 고리들 같으며, 그의 배는 사파이어들로 입힌 빛나는 상아 같도다. His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl： his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires. | |||
| ☞아5:15 | 그의 양 다리는 정금 받침대 위에 세운 대리석 기둥 같으며, 그의 용모는 레바논 같고 백향목들처럼 수려하도다. His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold： his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. | |||
| ☞아5:16 | 그의 입은 지극히 달콤하니, 참으로 그는 모든 것이 사랑스럽도다. 오 예루살렘의 딸들아, 나의 사랑하는 이는 이러하고 나의 친구는 이러하도다. His mouth is most sweet： yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem. | |||
