| ☞요일4:1 | 사랑하는 자들아, 모든 영을 다 믿지 말고 그 영들이 하나님께 속하였는지 시험하라. 이는 많은 거짓 선지자들이 세상에 나왔음이니라. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God： because many false prophets are gone out into the world. | |||
| ☞요일4:2 | 하나님의 영을 너희가 이렇게 알지니, 예수 그리스도께서 육신으로 오신 것을 시인하는 모든 영은 하나님께 속한 것이요 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God： Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God： | |||
| ☞요일4:3 | 예수 그리스도께서 육신으로 오신 것을 시인하지 아니하는 모든 영은 하나님께 속한 것이 아니니, 이것이 곧 적그리스도의 영이니라. 그것이 오리라는 것을 너희가 들었으나 지금 그것이 이미 세상에 있느니라. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God： and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. | |||
| ☞요일4:4 | 어린 자녀들아, 너희는 하나님께 속하였고 또 그들을 이겼으니, 이는 너희 안에 계신 분이 세상에 있는 자보다 더 크시기 때문이라. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them： because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. | |||
| ☞요일4:5 | 그들은 세상에 속하였으므로 세상에 관한 말을 하나니 세상이 그들의 말을 듣느니라. They are of the world： therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. | |||
| ☞요일4:6 | 우리는 하나님께 속하였으니, 하나님을 아는 자는 우리의 말을 듣고 하나님께 속하지 아니한 자는 우리의 말을 듣지 않느니라. 이로써 우리가 진리의 영과 미혹의 영을 아느니라. We are of God： he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. | |||
| ☞요일4:7 | 사랑하는 자들아, 우리가 서로 사랑하자. 이는 사랑이 하나님께 속한 것이기 때문이라. 사랑하는 사람은 누구나 하나님께로부터 태어났으며 또 하나님을 아느니라. Beloved, let us love one another： for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. | |||
| ☞요일4:8 | 사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니, 하나님은 사랑이시기 때문이라. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. | |||
| ☞요일4:9 | 우리를 향한 하나님의 사랑이 이렇게 나타났으니, 곧 하나님께서 그의 독생자를 세상에 보내신 것은 우리로 그를 통하여 살게 하려 하심이라. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. | |||
| ☞요일4:10 | 여기에 사랑이 있으니, 우리가 하나님을 사랑한 것이 아니요 그 분이 우리를 사랑하시고 그의 아들을 우리 죄들을 위하여 화목제물로 보내신 것이라. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. | |||
| ☞요일4:11 | 사랑하는 자들아, 하나님께서 이처럼 우리를 사랑하셨으니 우리도 서로 사랑하는 것이 마땅하도다. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. | |||
| ☞요일4:12 | 어느 때에도 하나님을 본 사람은 아무도 없으나, 우리가 서로 사랑하면 하나님께서 우리 안에 거하시고, 그의 사랑이 우리 안에서 온전해지느니라. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. | |||
| ☞요일4:13 | 이로써 우리가 그 분 안에, 그 분이 우리 안에 거하시는 것을 우리가 아노니 이는 그 분이 우리에게 그의 영을 주셨음이라. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. | |||
| ☞요일4:14 | 우리는 아버지께서 아들을 세상의 구주로 보내신 것을 보았고 또 증거하느니라. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. | |||
| ☞요일4:15 | 누구든지 예수를 하나님의 아들이라 시인하면 하나님께서 그 사람 안에 거하시고 그도 하나님 안에 거하느니라. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. | |||
| ☞요일4:16 | 하나님께서 우리를 향해 가지신 그 사랑을 우리가 알고 또 믿었으니, 하나님은 사랑이시라. 사랑 안에 거하는 사람은 하나님 안에 거하고 하나님께서도 그 사람 안에 거하시느니라. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. | |||
| ☞요일4:17 | 이렇게 우리의 사랑이 온전해졌나니, 이는 우리로 심판날에 담대함을 가지게 하려 는 것이라. 이는 그 분이 그러하심과 같이 우리도 이 세상에서 그러하기 때문이니라. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment： because as he is, so are we in this world. | |||
| ☞요일4:18 | 사랑 안에는 두려움이 없나니, 온전한 사랑은 두려움을 쫓아내느니라. 이는 두려움에는 고통이 있음이라. 두려워하는 자는 사랑 안에서 온전해지지 못하였느니라. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear： because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. | |||
| ☞요일4:19 | 우리가 그 분을 사랑하는 것은 그 분께서 먼저 우리를 사랑하셨음이라. We love him, because he first loved us. | |||
| ☞요일4:20 | 어떤 사람이 "나는 하나님을 사랑하노라." 하면서 자기 형제를 미워하면 그는 거짓말쟁이라. 눈으로 본 형제를 사랑하지 않는 자가 본 적이 없는 하나님을 어떻게 사랑할 수 있겠느뇨? If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar： for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? | |||
| ☞요일4:21 | 이것이 우리가 그 분께 받은 계명이니 하나님을 사랑하는 자는 자기 형제도 사랑해야 하느니라. And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. | |||
