☞요일2:1 나의 어린 자녀들아, 내가 이런 것들을 너희에게 쓰는 것은 너희로 죄를 짓지 않게 하려는 것이라. 그러나 만일 누가 죄를 지으면 우리에게 아버지와 함께 있는 한 변호인이 있으니 , 곧 의인이신 예수 그리스도시라.
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous：
☞요일2:2 그는 우리의 죄들을 위한 화목제물이시니, 우리뿐만 아니라 온 세상의 죄들을 위한 것이니라.
And he is the propitiation for our sins： and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
☞요일2:3 만일 우리가 그의 계명들을 지키면 이로써 우리가 그 분을 알고 있음을 아는 것이요
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
☞요일2:4 "나는 그 분을 아노라." 하면서 그의 계명들을 지키지 아니하는 자는 거짓말쟁이니, 진리가 그 사람 안에 있지 아니하니라.
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
☞요일2:5 누구든지 그의 말씀을 지키는 자는 하나님의 사랑이 참으로 그 사람 안에서 온전해지니, 이로써 우리가 그 분 안에 있음을 아느니라.
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected： hereby know we that we are in him.
☞요일2:6 그 분 안에 거한다고 말하는 자는 그가 행하신 대로 자기도 행해야 하느니라.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
☞요일2:7 형제들아, 내가 너희에게 쓰는 것은 새 계명이 아니라 처음부터 너희가 가졌던 옛 계명이라. 이 옛 계명은 너희가 처음부터 들었던 말씀이니라.
Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
☞요일2:8 또 내가 너희에게 새 계명을 쓰노니, 이는 그 분과 너희에게 참된 것이라. 이는 어두움이 지나갔고 이제 참 빛이 빛나고 있기 때문이라.
Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you： because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
☞요일2:9 그 빛 가운데 있다고 말하면서 자기 형제를 미워하는 자는 지금까지도 어두움 가운데 있느니라.
He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
☞요일2:10 자기 형제를 사랑하는 자는 빛 가운데 거하며 자기 안에 실족할 계기가 없으나
He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
☞요일2:11 자기 형제를 미워하는 자는 어두움 가운데 있고 어두움 가운데 행하되 자기가 어디로 가는지 모르니, 이는 어두움이 그의 눈을 멀게 하였음이라.
But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
☞요일2:12 어린 자녀들아, 내가 너희에게 쓰는 것은 그의 이름을 인하여 너희의 죄들이 용서되었기 때문이라.
I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
☞요일2:13 아비들아, 내가 너희에게 쓰는 것은 너희가 처음부터 계신 분을 알았기 때문이요, 젊은이들아, 내가 너희에게 쓰는 것은 너희가 악한 자를 이겼기 때문이며, 어린 자녀들아, 내가 너희에게 쓰는 것은 너희가 아버지를 알았기 때문이라.
I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
☞요일2:14 아비들아, 내가 너희에게 쓴 것은 너희가 처음부터 계신 분을 알았기 때문이요. 청년들아, 내가 너희에게 쓴 것은 너희가 굳세고 하나님의 말씀이 너희 안에 거하며 너희가 악한 자를 이겼기 때문이라.
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
☞요일2:15 세상도, 세상에 있는 것들도 사랑하지 말라. 누구든지 세상을 사랑하면 아버지의 사랑이 그 안에 있지 아니하니
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
☞요일2:16 이는 세상에 있는 모든 것이 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 생의 자랑이요, 아버지께 속한 것이 아니라 세상에 속한 것이기 때문이라.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
☞요일2:17 세상도, 세상의 정욕도 사라지지만 하나님의 뜻을 행하는 자는 영원히 거하느니라.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof： but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
☞요일2:18 어린 자녀들아, 이것이 마지막 때라. 적그리스도가 올 것이라고 너희가 들었던 대로 지금도 많은 적그리스도가 일어났으니, 이로써 우리가 마지막 때인 줄 아느니라.
Little children, it is the last time： and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
☞요일2:19 그들이 우리에게서 나갔으나 우리에게 속하지 아니하였나니, 만일 그들이 우리에게 속하였더라면 분명히 우리와 계속 함께 하였을 것이나 그들이 나감으로 우리 모두에게 속하지 아니함을 나타내었느니라.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us： but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
☞요일2:20 그러나 너희에게는 거룩하신 분으로부터 기름 부음이 있으니, 너희가 모든 것을 아느니라.
But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
☞요일2:21 내가 너희에게 쓴 것은 너희가 진리를 알지 못하기 때문이 아니라, 너희가 진리를 알며 또 어떤 거짓말도 진리에서 나오지 아니하는 것을 알기 때문이라.
I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
☞요일2:22 예수께서 그리스도이심을 부인하는 자 외에 누가 거짓말쟁이뇨? 아버지와 아들을 부인하는 자가 곧 적그리스도니라.
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
☞요일2:23 누구든지 아들을 부인하는 자에게는 아버지가 없으나 아들을 시인하는 자에게는 아버지가 있느니라.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father： he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
☞요일2:24 그러므로 너희는 처음부터 들은 것을 너희 안에 거하게 하라. 너희가 처음부터 들은 것이 너희 안에 있으면 너희도 아들 안에, 또 아버지 안에 계속 거하리라.
Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
☞요일2:25 그가 우리에게 하신 약속이 이것이니, 곧 영원한 생명이니라.
And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
☞요일2:26 너희를 미혹케 하는 자들에 관하여 내가 이런 것들을 너희에게 썼노라.
These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
☞요일2:27 너희가 그분에게서 받은 기름 부음이 너희 안에 거하나니 아무도 너희를 가르칠 필요가 없고, 오히려 그 동일한 기름 부음이 너희에게 모든 것을 가르치며, 또 그 기름 부음은 진리이고 거짓말이 아니니 너희를 가르친 그대로 너희는 그분 안에 거할지니라.
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you： but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
☞요일2:28 어린 자녀들아, 이제 그 분 안에 거하라. 이는 그가 나타나실 때 우리가 담대함을 가지며, 그가 오실 때 그의 앞에서 수치를 당하지 않게 하려 함이라.
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
☞요일2:29 만일 너희가 그분이 의로우신 것을 안다면, 의를 행하는 자는 누구나 그에게서 난 것을 아느니라.
If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
