| ☞약4:1 | 너희 중에 싸움과 다툼이 어디로부터 오느냐? 너희 지체들 속에서 싸우고 있는 너희 정욕들로부터 오는 것이 아니냐? From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? | |||
| ☞약4:2 | 너희가 갈망하여도 얻지 못하고, 너희가 살인하고 갖고자 열망하여도 얻을 수 없으며, 너희가 다투고 싸워도 얻지 못하니 이는 너희가 구하지 않기 때문이라. Ye lust, and have not： ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain： ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. | |||
| ☞약4:3 | 구하여도 받지 못함은 너희 정욕에다 쓰려고 잘못 구하기 때문이라. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. | |||
| ☞약4:4 | 너희 간음하는 남자들과 간음하는 여자들아, 세상과 친구되는 것이 하나님과 원수되는 것임을 알지 못하느냐? 그러므로 누구든지 세상의 친구가 되고자 하는 자는 하나님의 원수가 되느니라. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. | |||
| ☞약4:5 | 너희는 성경이 "우리 안에 거하는 영이 시기할 만큼 갈망한다."라고 말씀하는 것이 헛되다고 생각하느냐? Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? | |||
| ☞약4:6 | 그러나 그가 더 많은 은혜를 주시느니라. 그러므로 그가 말씀하시기를 "하나님께서는 교만한 자들을 거절하시고 겸손한 자들에게 은혜를 주신다."고 하셨느니라. But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. | |||
| ☞약4:7 | 그러므로 하나님께 복종하라. 마귀를 대적하라. 그리하면 그가 너희로부터 도망하리라. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. | |||
| ☞약4:8 | 하나님께 가까이 다가가라. 그리하면 그 분께서도 너희에게 가까이 다가가시리라. 너희 죄인들아, 손을 깨끗이 하라. 너희 두 생각을 품은 자들아, 마음을 정결케 하라. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. | |||
| ☞약4:9 | 괴로워하고 애통하며 울라. 너희 웃음을 슬픔으로, 너희 기쁨을 근심으로 바꾸라. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep： let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. | |||
| ☞약4:10 | 주의 목전에서 겸손하라. 그리하면 주께서 너희를 높이실 것이라. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. | |||
| ☞약4:11 | 형제들아, 서로 비방하지 말라. 자기 형제를 비방하는 자나 판단하는 자는 율법을 비방하고 율법을 판단하는 것이라. 만일 네가 율법을 판단하면 율법을 행하는 자가 아니라 재판관이로다. Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law： but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. | |||
| ☞약4:12 | 입법자는 한 분이시니, 그는 구원하실 수도 멸망시키실 수도 있느니라. 네가 누구기에 남을 판단하느냐? There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy： who art thou that judgest another? | |||
| ☞약4:13 | 이제 오라, "오늘이나 내일 우리가 어느 성읍으로 가서 거기서 일 년쯤 지내며 사고 팔아 수익을 올리리라." 하는 자들이여 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain： | |||
| ☞약4:14 | 너희가 내일 일어날 일을 알지 못하나니 너희 생명이 무엇이냐? 잠깐 보이다가 사라지는 안개니라. Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. | |||
| ☞약4:15 | 오히려 너희가 "주께서 원하시면 우리가 살겠고, 또 이것이나 저것을 할 수 있으리라."고 말해야 할 터인데 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. | |||
| ☞약4:16 | 이제 너희가 자만 가운데 기뻐하고 있으니 그러한 기쁨은 다 악하니라. But now ye rejoice in your boastings： all such rejoicing is evil. | |||
| ☞약4:17 | 그러므로 선을 행할 줄 알면서도 행치 아니하는 자에게는 그것이 그 사람에게 죄가 되느니라. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. | |||
