| ☞나1:1 | 니느웨에 대한 엄중한 말씀이라. 엘코스인 나훔의 환상의 책이라. The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite. | |||
| ☞나1:2 | 하나님은 질투하시며 주는 복수하시는도다. 주는 복수하시며 진노하시고, 주는 그의 대적들에게 앙갚음을 하시는도다. 그는 그의 원수들로 인하여 분노를 간직해 두시는도다. God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. | |||
| ☞나1:3 | 주는 노하기를 더디하시며 능력이 크시고 악인을 결코 면죄해 주지 않으시며, 주는 회오리바람과 폭풍 가운데도 그의 길을 가지고 계시며, 구름은 그의 발의 티끌이로다. The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked： the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. | |||
| ☞나1:4 | 그는 바다를 꾸짖으시고 그것을 마르게 하시며 모든 강을 말려 버리시는도다. 바산과 칼멜이 시들며 레바논의 꽃이 시드는도다. He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers： Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. | |||
| ☞나1:5 | 산들이 그의 앞에서 진동하며 작은 산들이 녹아 내리고 땅이 그의 임재 앞에서 타나니, 실로 세상과 그 안에 거하는 모든 것이로다. The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. | |||
| ☞나1:6 | 누가 그의 분노 앞에 설 수 있느냐? 누가 그의 분노의 열기 속에 거할 수 있느냐? 그의 격노함이 불처럼 쏟아지고 바위들이 그에 의하여 던져지는도다. Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. | |||
| ☞나1:7 | 주는 선하시며 고난의 날에 요새시라. 그는 자기를 신뢰하는 자들을 아시는도다. The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. | |||
| ☞나1:8 | 그러나 범람한 홍수로 그가 그 자리를 완전히 멸하실 것이요, 흑암이 그의 원수들을 추적할 것이라. But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies. | |||
| ☞나1:9 | 너희가 주를 대적하여 무엇을 획책하느냐? 그가 완전히 멸망시키시리니 재난이 다시는 일어나지 아니하리라. What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end： affliction shall not rise up the second time. | |||
| ☞나1:10 | 그들이 가시나무처럼 엉켜지고 주정뱅이처럼 취해 있을 때 그들은 잘 마른 그루터기처럼 태워지리라. For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry. | |||
| ☞나1:11 | 주를 대적하여 악을 획책하는 자가 네게서 나오나니, 그는 사악한 지략가라. There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor. | |||
| ☞나1:12 | 주가 이같이 말하노라. 그들이 비록 평화롭고 수가 많을지라도 그가 지나갈 때에 그들이 진멸을 당하리라. 내가 너를 괴롭혔으나 다시는 괴롭히지 아니하리니, Thus saith the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more. | |||
| ☞나1:13 | 이는 내가 지금 네게서 그의 멍에를 꺾고 네 결박을 조각내어 끊을 것임이라. For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder. | |||
| ☞나1:14 | 주께서 너에 관하여 한 명령을 주셨으니 다시는 네 이름이 전파되지 아니하리라. 내가 네 신들의 집에서 새긴 형상과 부어 만든 형상을 멸절할 것이요 내가 네 무덤을 만들리니, 이는 네가 야비함이라. And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown： out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image： I will make thy grave; for thou art vile. | |||
| ☞나1:15 | 보라, 좋은 소식을 가져오고 화평을 전하는 자의 발이 산들 위에 있도다! 오 유다야, 네 엄숙한 명절들을 지키고 네 서원들을 이행하라. 이는 악한 자가 더이상 너를 통과하지 못할 것임이라. 그가 완전히 멸절되었느니라. Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows： for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off. | |||
