| ☞욘3:1 | 주의 말씀이 요나에게 두 번째 임하여 말씀하시기를 And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying, | |||
| ☞욘3:2 | "일어나 저 큰 성읍 니느웨로 가서 내가 네게 명하여 전파하라고 한 것을 그 성읍에 전파하라." 하시니 Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. | |||
| ☞욘3:3 | 요나가 일어나서 주의 말씀에 따라 니느웨로 가니라. 그때 니느웨는 삼일길이나 되는 심히 큰 성읍이었더라. So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. | |||
| ☞욘3:4 | 요나가 그 성읍에 들어가 하룻길을 시작하고 그가 부르짖기를 "사십 일이 지나면 니느웨가 무너지리라." 하였더라. And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. | |||
| ☞욘3:5 | 그리하여 니느웨 백성이 하나님을 믿고 금식을 선포하며 굵은 베옷을 입었으니, 가장 큰 자로부터 가장 작은 자에 이르기까지라. So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. | |||
| ☞욘3:6 | 소문이 니느웨 왕에게 이르자 왕이 그의 보좌에서 일어나 그의 왕복을 벗고 굵은 베옷을 입고 재에 앉았더라. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. | |||
| ☞욘3:7 | 왕이 그의 귀족들과 더불어 니느웨 전역에 칙령을 선포하고 조서를 내리게 하여 말하기를 "사람이나 짐승이나 소떼나 양떼나, 입에 아무것도 대지 못하게 하라. 먹지도 말고 물도 마시지 못하게 하고 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing： let them not feed, nor drink water： | |||
| ☞욘3:8 | 사람이나 짐승이나 굵은 베를 쓰고 힘써 하나님께 부르짖게 할지니, 정녕, 그들 각인으로 자기의 악한 길과 자기 손에 있는 난폭함에서 돌이키게 할지니라. But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God： yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. | |||
| ☞욘3:9 | 혹 하나님께서 돌이키시고 불쌍히 여기시어 그의 진노를 그치시고 우리를 멸하지 않으실지 누가 말할 수 있겠느냐?" 하였더라. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? | |||
| ☞욘3:10 | 하나님께서 그들의 행함을 보시니, 그들이 그들의 악한 길에서 돌이키는지라. 그러므로 하나님께서는 그들에게 내리시겠다고 말씀하셨던 그 재앙으로부터 돌이키시고 그 일을 행하지 않으셨더라. And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not. | |||
