| ☞욜1:1 | 프두엘의 아들 요엘에게 임한 주의 말씀이라. The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel. | |||
| ☞욜1:2 | 너희 노인들아, 이것을 들으라. 너희 모든 땅의 거민들아, 귀를 기울이라. 이런 일이 너희 날들에나 너희 조상의 날들에 있었느냐? Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers? | |||
| ☞욜1:3 | 너희는 너희 자손들에게 이것을 말하고, 너희 자손으로 그들의 자손들에게 말하게 하며, 또 그들의 자손은 다른 후대에 말하게 하라. Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation. | |||
| ☞욜1:4 | 모충이 남긴 것을 메뚜기가 먹고, 메뚜기가 남긴 것을 자벌레가 먹고, 자벌레가 남긴 것을 풀쐐기가 먹었도다. That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten. | |||
| ☞욜1:5 | 너희 술취한 자들아, 깨어서 울라. 포도주를 마시는 너희 모든 자들아, 새 포도주로 인하여 울부짖으라. 이는 그 포도주가 너희 입에서 끊어졌음이라. Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth. | |||
| ☞욜1:6 | 한 민족이 내 땅에 올라왔으니, 강하고 헤아릴 수 없으며, 그의 이는 사자의 이요, 그는 큰 사자의 어금니를 가졌도다. For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. | |||
| ☞욜1:7 | 그가 내 포도나무를 황폐시켰고 내 무화과나무 껍질을 벗겼도다. 그가 그것을 깨끗이 벗겨서 버리니, 그 가지들이 하얗게 되었도다. He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree： he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white. | |||
| ☞욜1:8 | 자기의 젊은 시절의 남편을 위하여 굵은 베옷으로 동인 한 처녀같이 애곡하라. Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth. | |||
| ☞욜1:9 | 음식제사와 술붓는 제사가 주의 전에서 끊어졌고, 제사장들, 곧 주의 일꾼들이 슬퍼하는도다. The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD's ministers, mourn. | |||
| ☞욜1:10 | 밭은 황폐하고 땅은 슬퍼하는도다. 이는 곡식이 황폐하였으며 새 포도주가 말랐고 기름이 떨어졌음이로다. The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted： the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth. | |||
| ☞욜1:11 | 오 너희 농부들아, 너희는 부끄러워하라. 오 너희 포도원 일꾼들아, 밀과 보리를 위하여 울부짖으라. 이는 밭의 수확이 다 없어졌음이니라. Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished. | |||
| ☞욜1:12 | 포도나무는 말랐고 무화과나무는 쇠잔해졌으며, 석류나무와 종려나무와 사과나무와 밭의 모든 나무들조차 시들었으니, 이는 기쁨이 사람들의 아들들에게서 말라 버렸음이니라. The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered： because joy is withered away from the sons of men. | |||
| ☞욜1:13 | 너희 제사장들아, 너희 자신을 동이고 애곡하라. 너희 제단의 일꾼들아, 울부짖으라. 너희 내 하나님의 일꾼들아, 너희는 와서 굵은 베옷을 입고 온 밤을 누울지니, 이는 음식제사와 술붓는 제사가 너희 하나님의 전으로부터 금하여졌음이니라. Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests： howl, ye ministers of the altar： come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God： for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God. | |||
| ☞욜1:14 | 너희는 금식을 거룩케 하고 엄숙한 집회를 소집하며, 장로들과 그 땅의 모든 거민들을 주 너희 하나님의 전으로 모아 주께 부르짖으라. Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD, | |||
| ☞욜1:15 | 슬프도다, 그 날이여! 이는 주의 날이 가까웠으며, 전능하신 분으로부터 오는 멸망처럼 그 날이 올 것임이라. Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. | |||
| ☞욜1:16 | 음식이 우리의 목전에서 끊어진 것이 아니냐? 정녕, 기쁨과 즐거움이 우리 하나님의 전으로부터 끊어지지 않았느냐? Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God? | |||
| ☞욜1:17 | 씨가 그들의 흙덩이 아래서 썩었고 창고가 황량해졌으며 곳간이 부서졌으니, 이는 곡식이 시들었기 때문이라. The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered. | |||
| ☞욜1:18 | 짐승들이 어찌 신음하는지! 소떼가 어찌할 바를 모르니, 이는 그들에게 초장이 없음이라. 정녕, 양떼도 황폐케 되었도다. How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate. | |||
| ☞욜1:19 | 오 주여, 내가 주께 부르짖으리니, 이는 불이 광야의 초장들을 삼켰고 화염이 들의 모든 나무를 태웠음이니이다. O LORD, to thee will I cry： for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field. | |||
| ☞욜1:20 | 들의 짐승들도 또한 주께 부르짖으오니, 이는 강물들이 말랐고, 불이 광야의 초장들을 삼켰음이니이다. The beasts of the field cry also unto thee： for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness. | |||
