| ☞룻4:1 | 그 후 보아스가 성문에 올라가서 거기 앉아 있는데, 보라, 보아스가 말한 그 친척이 지나가는지라, 보아스가 그에게 말하기를 "어이 아무개여! 돌이켜서 이리 앉으라." 하니 그가 돌이켜서 앉더라. Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there： and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down. | |||
| ☞룻4:2 | 그가 그 성읍의 장로들 중 열 명을 청하여 말하기를 "당신들은 여기 앉으소서." 하니 그들이 앉더라. And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down. | |||
| ☞룻4:3 | 보아스가 그 친척에게 말하기를 "모압 땅에서 돌아온 나오미가 우리 형제 엘리멜렉의 소유였던 토지의 일부를 팔기에 And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech's： | |||
| ☞룻4:4 | 내가 네게 알리기로 생각하고 말하노니, 이 거민들과 내 백성의 장로들 앞에서 그것을 사라. 네가 그것에 값을 치르려 하면 값을 치르라. 그러나 만일 네가 값을 치르지 않으려거든 내게 말하여 나로 알게 하라. 이는 너 외에는 그것에 값을 치를 자가 아무도 없음이라. 나는 네 다음이라." 하니 그가 말하기를 "내가 그 값을 치르리라." 하더라. And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it： but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know： for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it. | |||
| ☞룻4:5 | 그러자 보아스가 말하기를 "네가 나오미의 손에서 그 밭을 사는 날, 너는 죽은 자의 이름을 그 유업 위에 일으키기 위해 그 죽은 자의 아내인 모압 여인 룻에게서도 그것을 사게 되는 것이라." 하더라. Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance. | |||
| ☞룻4:6 | 그 친척이 말하기를 "나는 나의 유업이 손해를 입을까 하여 나를 위해 값을 치르지 못하겠노라. 내 권리를 네게 주노니, 네가 값을 치르라. 나는 그것에 값을 치르지 못하겠노라." 하더라. And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance： redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it. | |||
| ☞룻4:7 | 옛날 이스라엘에서 값을 치르고 교환하는 일에 관하여 모든 일을 확증하는 관습이 이것이었으니, 즉 사람이 자기 신을 벗어 그것을 그의 이웃에게 주는 것이더라. 이것이 이스라엘에서 증거가 되었더라. Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour： and this was a testimony in Israel. | |||
| ☞룻4:8 | 그러므로 그 친척이 보아스에게 말하기를 "네가 그것을 사라." 하고 그가 자기 신을 벗더라. Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe. | |||
| ☞룻4:9 | 보아스가 장로들과 모든 백성에게 말하기를 "내가 나오미의 손에서 엘리멜렉의 소유와 킬리온과 말론의 소유였던 모든 것을 산 일에 대하여 너희가 오늘 나의 증인들이라. And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi. | |||
| ☞룻4:10 | 또 말론의 아내 모압 여인 룻도 내가 내 아내로 샀으니, 죽은 자의 이름을 그의 유업 위에 일으켜 죽은 자의 이름이 그의 형제 가운데서와 그의 처소의 성문에서 끊어지지 않게 한 일에도 너희가 오늘 증인들이라." 하자 Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place： ye are witnesses this day. | |||
| ☞룻4:11 | 성문에 있던 모든 백성과 장로들이 말하기를 "우리가 증인들이라. 주께서 네 집에 들어간 여인으로, 둘이서 이스라엘 집을 세운 라헬과 레아같이 되게 하시기를 원하며, 네가 에프라타에서 유력하게 되며 베들레헴에서 유명하게 되기를 원하노라. And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel： and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem： | |||
| ☞룻4:12 | 또 네 집이 타말이 유다에게 낳은 파레스의 집같이 되기를 원하며, 그 집의 씨는 주께서 이 젊은 여인을 통하여 네게 주시리라." 하더라. And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman. | |||
| ☞룻4:13 | 그리하여 보아스가 룻을 취하니 그녀가 그의 아내가 되었고, 그가 그녀에게 들어갔더니 주께서 그녀로 수태케 하시므로 그녀가 아들을 낳았더라. So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife： and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son. | |||
| ☞룻4:14 | 여인들이 나오미에게 말하기를 "주를 송축할지어다. 그 분께서 오늘 너를 친척이 없이 버려 두지 아니하셨으니, 그의 이름이 이스라엘에서 유명하게 되리라. And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. | |||
| ☞룻4:15 | 그가 네게 네 생명의 회복자가 될 것이요, 네 노년의 봉양자가 될 것이니, 이는 너를 사랑하고 네게 일곱 아들보다 더 나은 네 며느리가 그를 낳았음이라."하더라. And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age： for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him. | |||
| ☞룻4:16 | 나오미가 그 아기를 취하여 자기 품에 두고 그에게 보모가 되니라. And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it. | |||
| ☞룻4:17 | 그 이웃 여인들이 그에게 이름을 주며 말하기를 "나오미에게 아들이 태어났다." 하여 그들이 그의 이름을 오벳이라 불렀으니, 그가 다윗의 아버지인 이새의 아버지니라. And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed： he is the father of Jesse, the father of David. | |||
| ☞룻4:18 | 이것이 파레스의 후대니, 파레스는 헤스론을 낳고, Now these are the generations of Pharez： Pharez begat Hezron, | |||
| ☞룻4:19 | 헤스론은 람을 낳고, 람은 암미나답을 낳고, And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab, | |||
| ☞룻4:20 | 암미나답은 나손을 낳고, 나손은 살몬을 낳고, And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon, | |||
| ☞룻4:21 | 살몬은 보아스를 낳고, 보아스는 오벳을 낳고, And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed, | |||
| ☞룻4:22 | 오벳은 이새를 낳고, 이새는 다윗을 낳았더라. And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David. | |||
