| ☞몬1:1 | 예수 그리스도의 죄수된 바울과 우리 형제 디모데는 우리가 지극히 사랑하는 동역자 빌레몬과 Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer, | |||
| ☞몬1:2 | 우리의 사랑하는 압피아와 우리와 함께 군사된 아킵포와 너의 집에 있는 교회에 편지하노니 And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house： | |||
| ☞몬1:3 | 하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도로부터 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있을지어다. Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. | |||
| ☞몬1:4 | 내가 기도할 때에 항상 너를 말하며 나의 하나님께 감사하는 것은 I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, | |||
| ☞몬1:5 | 주 예수와 모든 성도를 향한 너의 사랑과 믿음을 들음이니 Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; | |||
| ☞몬1:6 | 이는 너의 믿음의 교제가 그리스도 예수 안에서 네 안에 있는 모든 선한 것을 인식함으로 인하여 효과가 있게 하려 함이라. That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. | |||
| ☞몬1:7 | 우리가 너의 사랑으로 큰 기쁨과 위로를 얻었노라. 형제여, 이는 너로 인하여 성도들의 마음이 새 힘을 얻었기 때문이라. For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother. | |||
| ☞몬1:8 | 그러므로 내가 그리스도 안에서 큰 담력을 가지고 마땅히 해야 할 것을 네게 명령할 수도 있지만 Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient, | |||
| ☞몬1:9 | 사랑으로 인하여 나 바울은 나이 많은 자로서 이제 또 예수 그리스도로 인해 갇힌 자로서 네게 간청하노라. Yet for love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ. | |||
| ☞몬1:10 | 내가 갇힌 중에 낳은 내 아들 오네시모를 위하여 네게 간구하노니 I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds： | |||
| ☞몬1:11 | 그가 전에는 네게 무익하였으나 이제는 너와 나에게 유익하므로 Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me： | |||
| ☞몬1:12 | 내가 그를 다시 보내노니 그러므로 너는 그를 받아들이라. 그는 내 마음 같은 자라. Whom I have sent again： thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels： | |||
| ☞몬1:13 | 내가 그를 나와 함께 있게 하여 복음을 위하여 갇혀 있는 나를 네 대신 섬기게 하고 싶었으나 Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel： | |||
| ☞몬1:14 | 네 승낙이 없이는 내가 아무것도 하기를 원치 아니하노니 이는 너의 선한 일이 억지로 되지 아니하고 자의로 되게 하려 함이라. But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly. | |||
| ☞몬1:15 | 그가 잠시 떠나 있게 된 것은 아마 이로 인하여 네가 그를 영원히 얻게 하려는 것인지도 모르니 For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever; | |||
| ☞몬1:16 | 이제는 종으로서가 아니라 종 이상의 사랑하는 형제로서 내게 특별히 그러한데 하물며 육신과 주 안에서 관련된 너에게는 더욱 그러하지 않겠느냐? Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord? | |||
| ☞몬1:17 | 그러므로 네가 나를 동역자로 여긴다면 그를 나와 같이 영접하라. If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself. | |||
| ☞몬1:18 | 만일 그가 네게 잘못을 저질렀거나 갚아야 할 빚이 있으면 내게로 넘기라. If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account; | |||
| ☞몬1:19 | 나 바울은 친필로 썼노니 내가 그것을 갚으리라. 그러나 나는 네가 비록 나에게 빚진 것이 있다 해도 말하지 않겠노라. I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it： albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides. | |||
| ☞몬1:20 | 형제여, 내가 주 안에서 너로 인하여 기쁨을 얻게 하고, 주 안에서 내 마음이 새 힘을 얻게 하라. Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord： refresh my bowels in the Lord. | |||
| ☞몬1:21 | 내가 너의 순종을 확신하고 너에게 썼노니, 이는 또한 내가 말하는 것 이상으로 네가 행할 줄 앎이라. Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say. | |||
| ☞몬1:22 | 이 외에도 내가 머물 곳을 마련해 다오. 이는 너희의 기도로 말미암아 내가 너희에게 나아가게 되기를 바람이라. But withal prepare me also a lodging： for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you. | |||
| ☞몬1:23 | 그리스도 예수 안에서 나와 함께 갇힌 자 에파프라가 문안하고 There salute thee Epaphras, my fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus; | |||
| ☞몬1:24 | 나의 동역자 마르코와 아리스타코, 데마, 루카도 문안하느니라. Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellowlabourers. | |||
| ☞몬1:25 | 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 너희의 영과 함께 있을지어다. 아멘. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. | |||
