| ☞말1:2 | 주가 말하노니, 내가 너희를 사랑하였노라. 그러나 너희는 말하기를 "주께서 어떻게 우리를 사랑하셨나이까?" 하는도다. 주가 말하노니, 에서는 야곱의 형제가 아니냐? 그러나 내가 야곱은 사랑하였고 I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD： yet I loved Jacob, | |||
| ☞말1:3 | 에서는 미워하였으며, 그의 산들과 그의 기업을 광야의 용들을 위하여 황폐하게 두었느니라. And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. | |||
| ☞말1:4 | 에돔은 말하기를 "우리가 곤궁하게 되었으나 우리가 돌아가서 황폐한 곳들을 세우리라." 하였으나, 만군의 주가 이같이 말하노니, 그들은 쌓을 것이나 나는 헐어낼 것이며, 사람들은 그들을 "악의 경계라", 또 "주께서 영원한 진노를 품으신 백성이라" 부르리라. Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever. | |||
| ☞말1:5 | 또 너희 눈이 볼 것이며 너희는 말하기를 "주께서는 이스라엘의 경계에서부터 크게 되시리로다." 하리라. And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel. | |||
| ☞말1:6 | 아들은 자기 아버지를 공경하고 종은 자기 주인을 공경하나, 오 내 이름을 멸시하는 제사장들아, 만군의 주가 너희에게 말하노니, 내가 아버지일진대 나를 공경함이 어디 있으며, 내가 주인일진대 나를 두려워함은 어디 있느냐? 그러나 너희는 말하기를 "우리가 어떻게 주의 이름을 멸시하였나이까?" 하는도다. A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master： if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? | |||
| ☞말1:7 | 너희가 더럽혀진 빵을 내 제단 위에 드리면서 말하기를 "우리가 어떻게 주를 더럽혔나이까?" 하니, 너희가 "주의 상은 멸시할 만하다."고 말함으로써 더럽혔도다. Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible. | |||
| ☞말1:8 | 너희가 눈 먼 것들을 희생제로 드린다면, 그것이 악하지 아니하냐? 너희가 저는 것들과 병든 것들을 드린다면, 그것이 악하지 아니하냐? 지금 네 총독에게 그것을 바쳐 보라. 그가 너를 기뻐하겠으며 네 존재를 받아들이겠느냐? 만군의 주가 말하노라. And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts. | |||
| ☞말1:9 | 이제 내가 너희에게 청하노니, 너희는 우리에게 은혜를 베풀어 달라고 하나님께 구하라. 이것이 너희의 방법이었느니라. 그가 너희의 체면을 고려하겠느냐? 만군의 주가 말하노라. And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us： this hath been by your means： will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts. | |||
| ☞말1:10 | 너희 가운데 쓸데없이 문을 닫을 자가 누구냐? 너희도 쓸데없이 내 제단에 불을 지피겠느냐? 만군의 주가 말하노니, 내가 너희를 기뻐하지 않으며 내가 너희 손에 있는 제물도 열납하지 아니하리라. Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand. | |||
| ☞말1:11 | 이는 해 뜨는 데부터 해 지는 데까지 내 이름이 이방인들 가운데서 위대하게 될 것이기 때문이라. 각처에서 내 이름에 향을 피우며 순결한 제물이 드려질 것이니, 이는 내 이름이 이방 가운데서 위대하게 될 것임이라. 만군의 주가 말하노라. For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering： for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts. | |||
| ☞말1:12 | 그러나 너희는 "주의 상은 더럽혀졌고, 거기에 있는 과실, 곧 그의 식물은 멸시할 만하도다."고 말함으로써 그것을 모독하였도다. But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible. | |||
| ☞말1:13 | 너희는 또 말하기를 "보라, 이 얼마나 따분한 일인가!" 하며 그 일에 코웃음 쳤도다. 만군의 주가 말하노라. 그리하여 너희는 찢기고 절며 병든 것들을 가져왔으니, 이렇게 너희가 제물을 가져왔도다. 내가 너희 손에서 이것을 받아들여야겠느냐? 주가 말하노라. Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering： should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD. | |||
| ☞말1:14 | 자기 양떼 안에 수컷이 있는데도 주께 더러운 것으로 서원하며 제사를 드리는 속이는 자는 저주를 받으리라. 만군의 주가 말하노니, 이는 내가 위대한 왕이요 내 이름이 이방 가운데서 두렵기 때문이라. But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the LORD a corrupt thing： for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen. | |||
